Small post

I have been told that I write too much and put too many pictures on here... so today I am sharing small.  It has been a busy day with lots of interruptions so there is minimal to share at this midpoint of the day.  I find that if I don't write my thoughts early - they become a deflated and hard to gather mess at this point.
Advent is a very special time for all Christians - we are constantly being reminded that we are to be ready - we know not the time when He will come.  Today in the Gospel the centurion reminds us that when we go to ask something of our Lord we need to trust that He is going to handle it.  Jesus is in control!  We expect HIM to come and cure our ills - yet He can do it through other means like the Sacraments we are given in our Church, prayer, and the Heavenly army led by Our Lady!  There are many avenues to healing when we are" paralyzed, and suffering dreadfully."  May we recall this with all that we face in LIFE!
In two days we will be returning to Rochester with John for his 1 year MRI.  That truly was an experience where we heard early on - "Mom, this is the storm, and Jesus is in control."  We also found healing through so many avenues we are blessed with by The Church!  I am starting to yearn for reconciliation to bring me a fresh start and healing... as I am reminded to be ready for HIM!
Jesus, we need YOU and long to have you heal us by so many means!  Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Amen and Hallelujah

  2. Thanks Jean - this means the world to me! As you can see - the LIGHT of day and my son-in-law's assurance helped me to work through my funk. I am maybe in a more humble place, and that is always good. Right? Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
