Horrible shocking news - Our Lady is there to hold us close

So amazing and in the light of the upcoming article in National Geographic about the most powerful woman in the world - Mary the Mother of God!
http://aleteia.org/blogs/deacon-greg-kandra/national-geographic-hails-mary-the-worlds-most-powerful-woman/

In shock with the multiple attacks in Paris tonight!  John had to call the Little Sisters in KC to make sure that they knew about it and that we were holding them up in prayer. How we need her comfort and intercession for all those individuals and families hurt by this attack!  Bless-bless, Barb

"Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, our mother; to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer us. Amen"

  1. Hello sister Verly. I am so glad to know you through your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am blessed to stop by your blog post and see those cheerful, radiant faces of each one of your family members. I could see the joy of the Lord on each face that is in this post. I am privileged and honored to get connected with you because of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who transformed your lives. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India and have a strong desire to get connected with the people of God irrespective of their denominational background to build strong relations to encourage, strengthen and pray for one another. You have already blessed me with your Christian life and testimonies. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 37yrs in the great city of Mumbai a city with great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the broken hearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have young people from your family and friends who have their interest in missions serving the most oppressed and neglected in the slums of Mumbai like the work Mother Teresa did in Kolkata, India. I am sure they will have a life changing experience. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. God's richest blessings on you, your family and friends. I was recently in the United States and would have so glad to visit you and be blessed by your fellowship and knowing you all in a very personal way. God willing if I happen to come to the United States in coming year I would be so happy to meet you personally and see your life on the farm and ranch.
