Celebration - Our Lady of Sorrows/Pat's birthday shared with Romeo for 2 years!

A family celebration for grandpa Pat's birthday with two of his 2 year old grandsons covered with frosting... the 3rd grandson turned 2 today with them.  We now have 3 grandsons that are 2 at the same time! Happy Birthday grandpa Pat and Romeo Joseph Librande!
Romeo with his family as we gathered in KC for Labor day weekend on the occasion of Saint Teresa of Calcutta gaining Sainthood.   In a few weeks they will welcome a new baby sister!
The 3 - 2 year old grandsons... Romeo joined the other 2 today - we love you Romeo and grandpa Pat... Happy birthday on this special feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.  We can come to her with our struggles and pains and crosses - she takes them into her heart... sharing our suffering with that of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
Grandpa and Romeo making pancakes for our big weekend together.

All the grandkids - in a few weeks it will be outdated as we are adding Evangeline Mary!   Romeo will be a big brother!

Thank you, Lord, for family times.  Thank you for giving us our Spiritual Mother, who stood with you throughout all your humble sacrifice for our welfare and salvation!  May we embrace our Most Cherished Cross and follow you.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
"O most holy Virgin, Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, by the overwhelming grief you experienced when you witnessed the martyrdom, the crucifixion, and the death of your divine Son, look upon me with eyes of compassion, and awaken in my heart a tender commiseration for those sufferings, as well as a sincere detestation of my sins, in order that, being disengaged from all undue affection for the pas...sing joys of this earth, I may sigh after the eternal Jerusalem, and that henceforward all my thoughts and all my actions may be directed towards this one most desirable object: honor, glory, and love to our divine Lord Jesus, and to the holy and immaculate Mother of God. Amen." - Prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows by St. Bonaventure. #FeastDay See More
