"will he find Faith on earth?" Luke18:8 "Beloved, you are faithful in all you do..." 3rd letter of John

Maria at mass last weekend with newly baptized daughter, Evangeline Mary, and many congratulations from those that have met them over the year they have been stationed there.  Bonded together in sharing our Catholic Faith and embracing the Sacrament of Baptism and Eucharist shared at this mass - the first one for our sweet new little girl at just 5 days old!  The burning question posed by Jesus in the Gospel today - we answer with a strongly held "Yes!"  But when the Son of Man comes, will he find Faith on earth?  Yes, indeed - I look at my extended family and Pat's and strong faith held in many hearts and shared with JOY in their domestic Church/family.  I also see the witness of Faith shared with JOY in our family and find a small slice of heaven there!
Little Evangeline is so specially blessed to have Fr Samson for her Godfather!  Therese has a priest for her Godfather and a sister - Little Sister Hallel for her Godmother.   She is helped on her journey by such examples of great Faith leading her down the path of Truth!

St John in his 3rd letter today speaks to us of how we are to carry forth our faith and witness it to all!
"Beloved, you are faithful in all you do for the brothers and sisters, especially for strangers; they have testified of your love before the Church..."  In this sense the strangers could be those that do not have faith or know Jesus in their hearts.  How do we care for them and encourage them?  By the LOVE we show for them and show our faith in actions and not only with words!  May we reveal The LIGHT/LOVE/LIFE in all we do and say!
A special moment shared between Em and her Godfather, Fr Jordan Samson!  It was so special to get to know this friend of Maria's and Hallel's!  When we parted I burst into tears as the hug he gave me felt as though it were from my daughter, Little Sister Hallel.  He had even sent some pictures by text to his seminarian friends in Rome and asked them to show them to Hallel, who is living there for the last 3 years.  It is certainly a small world and many of us are united in The True Faith in Jesus Christ and His Bride, The Church!
Talking about the priesthood with knowledge and love for his being Christ here on earth bringing us LIFE through the Eucharist, and the other amazing wonderful Sacraments!  Bless-bless, Father Jordan!
The best with Jesus and Our Lady... we are forever blessed and our faith is sustained by them!

Jesus, our faith is real and growing with each new day in your Church!  We are blessed on this feast of St Josaphat by his example of bringing unity into the divided Church...  May the Apostle of Unity help our broken and divided county find some healing and peace and go forward.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
