"Save me, O Lord, in your kindness." Psalm 31

This now graces our new bathroom by our bedroom and the kitchen.  Every time I sit on the throne... It makes me smile and my heart melt.  How many times over the years have I watched Pat with little ones on his lap with his big farm hat on their heads and that smile of love and adoration on the face of the baby getting his love and attention? Too many to count!!!   2 year old Nancy is my poster child for my husband's love of all LIFE!
Adoration gifted to me!  I love the rosary at your feet, O Lord.  I love to place our families in your heart, O Lord, we number over 200 including those in the womb!  It is such an honor and privilege to place them each in the monstrance with you, and "my trust is in you, O Lord; I say, 'You are my God.'  In your hands is my destiny; rescue me from the clutches of my enemies and my persecutors.  Save me, O Lord, in your kindness."  Psalm 31 from mass today
Your Mother at your side interceding for me and all!
Evangeline baptized the day after she came home surrounded by her loving siblings and Our Lady!  Ruth is to give birth on March 31st and her daughters Baptism will happen after her older brother, David, has his first Communion on Sunday March 30th!  Such a day of great celebration!
Two sets of sisters taken around Christmas!  Soon we will all be together again in KC for the arrival of our Hallel at Lumen Christi/LIGHT of Christ monastery in KC!
Love this!  Another lover of LIFE... my mother-in-law!  She is missed, yet her legacy is carried forth in her children, grand-children, and great-grands!  Her family is over 90 now with 2 new ones yet to arrive!
Family rosary prayer at CCC this year!  Our Lady is so important to keep the family safe... protected by the assault of the evil one.  Family is under attack in this day.
Pat with his newest grandchild, Evangeline...a!  In a couple weeks he will have a new granddaughter just 3 miles away on the farm!  I predict he will be in the house often for time holding her!  He is a baby magnet!
So much like her older sister, Therese!
The day they left for Wisconsin for a week and a half!  Tomorrow Maria flies to see Joe in Virginia with the baby!  They haven't seen each other for 2 months!  Thanks military for making it hard on families!  I am so excited for them to have some time together, and now we know that Joe will be able to fly into KC to see Susan/Hallel for the first time in years, and of course most importantly to see his family!
Jesus, I adore you and love you with all that I have!  These words of yours today in the Gospel convict me!  "Whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant; whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave.  Just so, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many."  Matthew 20:28

How do I give my life as a ransom?  Not my will, but your will be done.  Die to self so that Jesus/The Holy Spirit can work through me!  "When you do anything in sincere desire to serve God, not one gesture or word or thought is wasted - all the love you put into what you did will be with you for ever and ever."  Caryll Houselander (1954)  This does give some comfort...

A great visit from Pat's sister, who loves LIFE!  Yes, Pat's mom surely passed that on to her kids, and there is much fruit as a result!

Lord. how I long to love and serve you with my life!  It is so powerful to see the love of life carried forth!  With the arrival of our newest grandchild so soon, and all the prayers that surround Ruth and her daughter.... Yes, we are brought to our knees with each new little one!  After Ruth was told no more after her second child and now her 6th!  So many prayers and so much Trusting in you, O Lord!
Each one since has been a "miracle baby!"  She was told that her little girl now weighs over 7 pounds and has two weeks to grow yet!  Lord, so exciting to meet her and then just a few weeks later she will meet her Aunt Little Sister Hallel!  So much JOY!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb

“Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also; henceforth you know him and have seen him.”
