Joy to the world! A new baby brings us JOY!

A year after moving to the farm/switching places on Good Friday 2016/March 25th... we are filled with much JOY at the safe arrival of our newest granddaughter, Joy Jean.  The patio door and the deck which used to be off our family room/kitchen are now off Ruth and Paul's bedroom as Ruth switched the kitchen where our bedroom used to be.
The statue of Mary would be there whenever I looked out while in the kitchen or family room, now she gazes in upon our new little granddaughter, Joy.  Therese, David, and I were just singing "Joy to the world" and Therese said that she would hear her name a lot during Christmas.  Yes, JOY came into the world in the small body of God made man... our salvation!  If only we gaze upon him on the Cross and recall how he died for us..."I AM"
Precious and adding to our love... little Joy!

Many distractions all around me...  How do we stay on the narrow path?  By dying to self and "doing what is pleasing to The Father... He has not left me alone."  John 8  It is hard to be able to do what is pleasing when we are so weak and sickly ( I am so bummed to have another cold, and that is kicking my butt).  Please, Lord, keep the others from getting this from me!
We are such a work of art!  Made in the image and likeness of God!  Her whole life ahead of her as she will grow up in a happy healthy farm family with 5 older siblings to show her the path to take... the narrow path to heaven forever with Jesus and Mary and the wonderful Saints - today is St Isidore!

Wonderfully made!
Big sister, Mary, is a great role model of being a kind humble girl, who loves her Jesus and asks him to show her his path/plan just for Mary Angela!  She has being a nun like her Aunt Little Sister Hallel as a possibility, too!  What a wonderful option to be His Bride!  We are so happy to have some home time with our nun here in about a month!  The Best!!!

Jesus, each day of our journey is filled with so much as we love and serve you without counting the cost!  Your Word and Sacraments fill us with wonderful food for the journey and we ask that you guide and direct us always according to your wonderful plan which will lead us to be forever in heaven with YOU!  Looking upon you on the Cross we are healed by your Body and Blood, which was shed for us... the perfect Lamb of God sacrificed for us!  Our JOY abounds with the small slice of heaven we are given if only we bring you into our domestic Church/family!  You at the center of our lives allows us to give without counting the cost just as you did for us!  May we return the love and mercy we have been given to those around us this day.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen
Life is a gift to be protected and cherished from conception to natural death no matter the cost!  Bless-bless, Barbara Luke

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
