"our paschal lamb, Christ..." "We are the Easter People and Hallelujah is our song!" JP II

Hallel reading the second reading from Easter mass yesterday.  Such a joy to have our Hallel here sharing time with us!  Discussing with Nancy and Maria about this quote coming from JPII;
"We are the Easter people, and Hallelujah is our song."  I love the use of Hallelujah which has Hallel for it's root and is what her name means - "When people say my name they are giving total praise to the Lord."

Ruth and Paul on Easter with their family.  We missed them down here visiting Hallel.  Now Hallel has only one niece to meet for the first time... new little Joy Jean!  We will all be together at the beginning of May when Hallel comes home for her home visit for the first time in 4 years.  As Maria pointed out in keeping with her two girl cousins born in the last year... Josephine and Evangeline, we now have Joy Jean.   It looks like Rose thought that Joy should be in keeping with Easter and have bunny ears.
Hallel was able to meet Romeo for the first time, and she enjoys her little red head and he her!
A wonderful beautiful Easter feast out in the courtyard at the Little Monastery is so reminiscent of meals in France outside for the celebrations of Hallel's taking her habit and taking her first vows.
Hallel joins us at the feast!
Wonderful food, flowers, family, warm sunshine, and deeply dwelling JOY/Hallelujah!!!  The darkness has been cast out of our souls forever!  We are on the narrow path to be forever with Jesus, Mary, St Peter and all the Saints in heaven!  Hallelujah!
One of the pictures that was deep in my heart and became a wonderful reality!
The desserts are carried around in a wonderful procession!!!
roses and desserts and small children marching to the music!
Bubbles, flowers, children, yummy sweets, song... it must be Easter JOY filling our eyes with the "bread of sincerity and Truth" as we proclaim with our lives that Christ is alive and well and actively our hands and feet as we go forth to live the Gospel!
Two fake performers - Susan/Hallel and Joseph enjoy each other after not seeing each other in 6 years!  His two days here with us was wonderfully special!
Grandpa and some of the kids sharing time in the beautiful day - "We are the Easter people and Hallelujah is our song.."  JPII

This man is so huge in my life!  What joy to find that I have him to thank for this amazing Truth in words that are familiar in song.
I love Hallel's joyful face as the Word is processed in before the reading of the Gospel!  Her love for Jesus in The Word is where she fell in love with him, and The Community of the Lamb hugely takes in the Gospel each day and carry it forth as they represent Christ knocking on the door of the poor.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
Some time with her Godmother after 4 years apart.  We are to be on the road here in a few minutes.  We will stop to say goodbye to Hallel and her Community of the Lamb on the way home.  Jesus, we love that you travel with us always.
