St Anthony, St Anthony find ______ that is lost...

Three of my sweet granddaughters together last weekend.  Family Time is the Best!

I love to look into those big brown eyes, and see the way they have been passed on from one generation to the next.  Pat and I both have hazel brown eyes with plenty of green in them, but our daughters and granddaughters have such dark brown chocolate eyes!  The jury is still out what we will have with our newest Joy, but she does have a brother and sister, who have gotten their dad's beautiful blue eyes.  Eyes are certainly a lamp looking at the world, and sharing the Joy and brightness we share with the world around us!  Having so many little ones around me in our domestic Church/family... watching them grow more and more aware and excited about the new world around them with each new day... LIFE is such a great gift and raising them as LIGHTS is what makes the world go round!
5 year old Rose Ida came over to grandma's/ a year ago it was her house, and went out in the rain to pick some of her mom's pretty flowers growing in my garden to take home for her mom.  Such a sweet girl who loves her mom!

Today as Pat, John and I shared morning prayer we discovered that an old Saint friend, St Anthony, was the saint for today.  We have many amazing stories of St Anthony answering prayers for lost things.  As John and I were reading we both were struck by the fact that St Anthony was also a great preacher and teacher and "he sought out those lost in unbelief and denial and brought them back to the fold of faith by the power of the word that he preached."  St Anthony bring _____ back to Jesus!  A new wonderful help in heaven for all those that we constantly pray for and long for them to come to Jesus!  The LIGHT turned on in our hearts, minds and souls.
Lots of preparation is happening to get ready for the big breakfast on our farm in 9 days!  The new porch is poured and getting used without the roof and railing that will be built after the 22nd or maybe even that afternoon!

My day has escaped me and with a trip to town for Pat I was gifted with the best hour of my week - Adoration!  Putting all 200+ from our combined families with Jesus in prayer... so powerful along with all 10 decades of my rosary and the first decade of the chaplet of divine Mercy devoted to Pat's beloved mom and dad.  So amazing!
I am so happy that our girls are open to LIFE and giving their kids lots of brothers and sisters!  Nothing can compare to siblings!  Open to LIFE and raising them as LIGHTS is so needed with the crazy sinful world we live in.

Lord, in the Gospel today you teach us in the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5... You are the light of the world...so, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.  Yes, Lord, we are trying to humbly share our light with all those we encounter, most especially those in our domestic church/family.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
Peachy new light baby Joy is now 2 1/2 months old and sleeps all night and smiles a lot and puts herself to sleep.  Can there ever be too many in a family?  Never!

I am right there with you my wonderful ST JPII... you represent my entire marriage from 1978-2005 and you are my champion for LIFE and family!  We love Our Lady - Totus Tuus!
this song brought tears while on the road coming back from KC after dropping off Hallel to return to Rome a month ago.  Still filled with Joy at the wonderful LIGHT filled week we had with all of our family for those glorious days in early May!
Added Joseph to make it complete!
Hallel meeting the new girls in the last year... such precious lights and now they are being lifted up daily by their Aunt Hallel's prayers!
