Prolife to my core! Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the unborn - bringing Millions to her Son... /The Belgian makes cookies +JMJ+

This was Sunday with Rose, Joy and Tom visiting Our Lady of Guadalupe shrine.  Rose is a special girl for her as the Roses that filled Juan Diego's cloak in winter along with the amazing image of Our Lady!
So beautiful!  She appeared dress as a native person with a black sash that indicates she is pregnant with Jesus and also bearing the Jasmine flower over her womb - the Aztec symbolism clearly indicating Mary's unborn child is to be the divine center of the cosmos.  In 1999 Pope John Paul II declared Our Lady of Guadalupe the Patroness of the Unborn/LIFE in the womb!

Pat shared that the liberals want to call Prolife centers - Anti abortion centers.  Yes, this is the Truth, and I do not see how it will have any effect on the work we do to protect and save innocent lives in the womb!  Yet, Pro life makes you pause and realize that it is an innocent human life and not a piece of tissue.  There is work under weigh to have an ultrasound machine here in Marshall at Choices Pregnancy center for women to see the baby in their womb and realize it is a life!  Prayers for this to happen!

Oh, grandma she is so pretty and special and loved!
Capturing their devotion.
Always hold her values for LIFE close to your heart and never waver from valuing all human life from conception to natural death!
Great to see Tom with his older brothers after our 2nd Sunday of Advent brunch on the farm!

St JPII with the Patroness of the Unborn and the Americas in 1999!

As Fr Denny shared this morning at mass - She was able to bring millions to her Son and his Bride, The Church!

On my way to Adoration in the middle of the night I noticed some fog in the air - so in the morning the trees were frosted beautifully!

Mary gave birth to God./"Where are you?" "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." -+JMJ+

A cherished picture of oldest farm wife/daughter remodeler exceptional  with her youngest girl, Joy, 6 years ago.  Joy is now a first grader at HRS!

I have always loved this beautiful statue of The Immaculate Conception of Mary in St Mary's chapel at the school where Ruth, her siblings, her dad and his siblings all attended school.  There is also shared that Pat's mother and siblings also attended Catholic School!  I love how she is crushing the head of the serpent as God promised in the first reading today from Genesis 3.  How we rejoice today at her pure womb where God came into the world to save us!

So many beautiful images of LIGHT and LIFE and LOVE!
Talk about a our Heavenly Mother that can help us on our journey!

Time with hubby praying by the Advent wreath is special, and I am so grateful for this season in our Church bringing us to turn off the TV and share in the LIGHT!
In Genesis 3 today God calls out to Adam and Eve, who are hiding after eating the forbidden fruit - "Where are you?"  Mary's answer in Luke 1 - after the Angel Gabriel announces that she has been found worthy to bear the Son of God into the world - Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word."
Then the angel departed from her.  Luke 1
We have discovered the beauty of starting the night before reading the Gospel for the next day from our daughter and her Community of the Lamb.  It is like Lectio Divino as it is repeated 3 times and chanted each line - allowing the Holy Spirit to share with us The Truth that will set us free!  I feel the excitement building - what will it be tonight?
A Christmas Cactus I bought last year with blossoms ready to open.  They fell off instead, and I put in outside on the porch for the summer.  Bringing it in ahead of the frost, and it is blossoming with these stunning blossoms now as we approach Christmas, and add to my Advent wreath.  Truly a Christmas Cactus as I did not give up on it.. although I basically ignored it instead other than watering it time to time.
I am kind of amazed that I didn't kill it as I am a poor plant person...   This is a gift!
My heart is full today!  Up early with hubby and prayed for Fr Denny with 7 Sisters from 6a-7a and then mass with hubby - he was at That Man is You.
Alone in the Church with the dark outside and the first Sunday of Advent Candle lit - LIGHT coming into the world!

Wow!  LOVE this!

The Family is so important - The Domestic Church!  During Advent in our Domestic Church we spent special family time doing the rosary, reading the Gospel and Bible, and reading about the lives of the Saints!  We also would sing songs I learned as a Protestant at Family Camp.
The way I pray for Fr Denny is to join him in reading the Office of Readings and Morning Prayer from the Prayer of The Church!  This was in my dad's prayer book today - St Anslem's sharing on Mary!  So amazing

Lady, full and overflowing with grace, all creation receives new life from your abundance. Virgin, blessed above all creatures, through your blessing all creation is blessed, not only creation from its Creator, but the Creator himself has been blessed by creation.

To Mary God gave his only-begotten Son, whom he loved as himself. Through Mary God made himself a Son, not different but the same, by nature Son of God and Son of Mary. The whole universe was created by God, and God was born of Mary. God created all things, and Mary gave birth to God. The God who made all things gave himself form through Mary, and thus he made his own creation. He who could create all things from nothing would not remake his ruined creation without Mary.

God, then, is the Father of the created world and Mary the mother of the re-created world. God is the Father by whom all things were given life, and Mary the mother through whom all things were given new life. For God begot the Son, through whom all things were made, and Mary gave birth to him as the Savior of the world. Without God’s Son, nothing could exist; without Mary’s Son, nothing could be redeemed.

Truly the Lord is with you, to whom the Lord granted that all nature should owe as much to you as to himself.

St Mother Teresa!

Please Lord and Lady save lives in danger of Abortion today and end the horror of taking the innocent lives of those in the womb!
I feel like that sometime, but He is always there for me!
a day brightener
How we pray for PEACE in this world!  Lord and Lady we love you and ask that you heal this world of sin and darkness.  Jesus we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 33 plus many Little Sisters and Little Brothers.
