Peter and John were going up to the temple area
for the three o’clock hour of prayer.
And a man crippled from birth was carried
and placed at the gate of the temple called “the Beautiful Gate” every day...
The 3 o'clock hour of prayer!! My dad and I would sit out on my porch every day at 3p and share the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy! Why? Because it is a Holy hour as it was when Christ died on the Cross. We would watch an entire growing season on the farm, and a few days ago the men that farm the field at the edge of our building site pulled in to work and to plant... just as they did 5 years ago when dad had moved here on April 16th, 2020. So wonderful and amazing!
Silver and Gold have I noneI was so blessed by sharing my dad's religious life with him as he was a Permanent Deacon in The Church for 44 years after bringing the 13 into The Church 54 years ago!
Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The amazing story of the 13 becoming Catholic!
LOVE this! My hero for LIFE and family St JPII, and wise Pope Benedict welcoming Francis.
It will be so wonderful to watch the Church honor him and then the Holy Spirit guide them to the next Pope! How we love our Catholic Church!
Easter family picture of our Farm family before Mary heads back to college at the U of M!
Bill and Nancy out East in Pennsylvania for Easter with his family.
John and Bobbi Easter 2025 in New Ulm visiting great- grandma Arnolda.
Hallel with Easter bunny cakes in KCK Nancy's kids so young - probably 7-8 years ago.
The military family at the Easter Vigil on base in Fort Riley, KS. Major Joseph is leaving for a year in Poland and Maria and the kids are moving to their forever house just 4 hours away from here on the border of Wisconsin... just across the road from my parents' grave. I predict I will be there often! Nothing says Easter beauty and JOY like the Easter Lilies in our glorious Church!
He has conquered death and sin!
9 years ago - grandpa Pat showing 2 year old Luke how to gently handle day old baby chicks! Precious!
I am one lucky grandma to have 16 year old Dave come over to help me with lots of leaves in my gardens. He brought over the 4 wheeler and a wagon.
Thanks Dave! Then he headed off to drive the digger ahead of the planter. He has done that a lot this spring!
My buddy Tom comes of Tuesdays to be grandma's little buddy! He will be here tomorrow too, and I guess grandma has to take a nap with him... sigh! Holy Father with St Therese for whom he had a huge devotion to her little way. He was known as being a man filled with Mercy and a heart of the poor.
Yes!!!!
So True in this year of HOPE!
So much Trust, Hope and Excitement as we go forward with our amazing Catholic Church!
Jesus comes to us in Word, Body and Blood! On Holy Thursday we began once again the Cup of Blood! Rose and Luke have never received it before since they had their first Communion since Covid! Powerful stuff!!!
The year of Jubilee - Pilgrims of HOPE!
When others are happy because of you.
Nancy's family on Easter Vigil in Uniontown, PA! Wednesday is the day that I bring Eucharist to my hospice patients... Such a special time for me to return to hospice as a volunteer chaplain. The first lady I visited asked me to bring Communion, so that was my answer to become an Eucharistic minister and share that with special friends I am just meeting or have known over the years here in Marshall. Such a special gift to me! Thank you, Lord and Lady!
Special fun on Easter Sunday up in Wisconsin - my brother's home and grandkids!
A beautiful sharing by Pope Benedict XVI - my mother saw this in their priest, Fr John Drees! He will be the priest of Maria and her family now. He actually knows Maria and Hallel from Catholic Studies at St Thomas.
Beauty and Truth! She takes us to her Son!
With Carlos Acutis, who is to be Canonized on April 27th. It has now been postponed for the funeral of Pope Francis on the 26th.
While visiting my friend, Marie, at the nursing home on Monday - we laughed at this naughty squirrel getting into her bird feeder!
Cute but naughty...
