Nancy Anna's birthday #43 in April snow/April the month of The Eucharist!/"The LORD is near to all who call upon him" - +JMJ+

8 years ago - Joy coming home from the hospital at 2 days old.  #6 of Ruth and Paul's family, and 5  years later #7 Tom joined!

Nancy's family last Easter 2024.
Nancy is our #2 daughter and our Easter girl as her birthday is today. Her birthday has been on Good Friday some times over the years, but not quite on Easter.
Last Easter Tom and Gina, who are just a month apart.  Easter was on March 31st last year as it was Joy Jean's 7th birthday!  The snow outside looks like today with rain and now large snow flakes making a white world out there.
Joy on her birthday last year got her wish for baby kittens on her birthday!  She is still waiting for the momma kitty to have her kittens for this year.
Joy and Jude shared a birthday party after Mass on Sunday - Jude was 6 on the 26th of March and Joy 5 days later was 8 on the 31st.  Joy showing the big baby belly knowing that she will have baby kitten any day now.
Waiting for the kittens to come on the farm!
In her basket and I am sure with the weather today - she is trying really hard to have her kittens and be nice and warm in the basket in the house.
Jude reminding Sweetie to have those baby kittens soon!

Happy Birthday Jude and Joy!
Joy now has glasses and Jude wore a special red tie.
Our Nancy is 43 today!  She amazes me with her wonderful ministry called Catholic Sprouts!
Nancy has a daily podcast for young families each day to help them embrace their Catholic Faith.  She has had over 12 million downloads!
Nancy at a fundraiser for their Catholic School - St Maximilian Kolbe Catholic School in Delano, MN

Nancy and Bill Bandzuch.

April in the month of The Eucharist and today I had to get some hosts to take to my hospice patients - I now have 6 between the 2 hospice houses and one at home still.  Such a blessing to share with them Jesus!

Jesus!  I am so honored to share prayer with these people each week as they journey down the narrow path with heaven forever as their goal.
A blessed month of a close walk with our Lord and Savior there for us each day in His Body!

I have my hubby to thank for getting me to go to daily mass!  He said to me a few years ago that I needed to get moving more.  I found water aerobics at the Y at 8a, and I thought that I could get up for 7a Mass first - The spiritual and the physical by 9a in the morning!  Sucn a blessing to me!

Rain and snow outside and the Cross with Lenten purple on the inside.

The Psalm for today - Psalm 145 is an Hallel Psalm - Giving God all the praise!

Responsorial Psalm Psalm 145:8-9, 13cd-14, 17-18

R. (8a)  The Lord is gracious and merciful.
The LORD is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and of great kindness.
The LORD is good to all
and compassionate toward all his works.
R. The Lord is gracious and merciful.
The LORD is faithful in all his words
and holy in all his works.
The LORD lifts up all who are falling
and raises up all who are bowed down.
R. The Lord is gracious and merciful.
The LORD is just in all his ways
and holy in all his works.
The LORD is near to all who call upon him,
to all who call upon him in truth.
R. The Lord is gracious and merciful.

I love St JPII so much!  He was the Pope for the first 27 years of our marriage!  October 1978 to April 2, 2005!  Talk about  A beautiful example of being close to Our Lord, Our Lady and The Catholic Church!
Lord and Lady, St JPII, St Mother Teresa of Calcutta - Protect and cherish ALL LIFE from conception to natural death!
Walked into our most beautiful Church on this dark deary day, and the tabernacle just gleamed

with Jesus calling me to come to Him!  "The Lord is truly near to all who call upon him."

Tom yesterday playing with the wooden chalice and Paten with hosts.  It was made and sold at the Hospice auction probably 30+ years ago and has been played with by our kids and now our grandkids as a most favorite toy!
The Body of Christ - I would take it in my hand and kiss it and cross myself!
Sweet Tom - farmer or future priest.  Either would be right where the Lord wants him!

Such a special part of our home!
If that isn't the ultimate source of our LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT for us on this journey!  We are so loved!
A good reminder for us on this Lenten Journey!
First Saturday coming up - time for Reconciliation to lay all my burdens at His feet and here his words - Your sins are forgiven.  Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.

Yes, we had snow last Easter - March 31,2014 - Joy with her cousin, JoJo last year.  Not sure what Easter will be like this year.  This year it will be on April 20th!
Pat and I last year...
Maria's bunch last year on Easter!
John's 3 with Tom and Joy on Sunday in the middle of the kitchen -  kid taco!
A better one!
Singing Happy birthday to the two - doughnuts on Sunday after Mass!
Snow on the tractor in the yard as we had some snow over the weekend too.
Jude on this birthday last year with cousin, George, who is just 6 weeks older than Jude and they have Hector in the middle of them.  3 boys in 6 weeks!  They are best buddies too!
My wonderful St JPII on the 20th Anniversary of his death.
Easter 9 years ago - we had just traded places.  Ruth and Paul moved to the farm after remodeling the farmhouse that Ruth grew up in!  How we love to have our young farm family with their 7 kids living and loving the farm!  A wonderful answer to prayer!

Jesus, we love you and are forever grateful for how you feed us each day for our journey down the narrow path dragging our Most Cherished Cross with heaven forever as our goal!  Bless our Nanuck of the North on her birthday ( she had a dark complexion and black hair like a patch of fur on her head when she was born).  May we die to self so that we may love and serve you and one another without counting the cost.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 33 plus 13 in heaven.
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers,
intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone...
that we may live peaceful and quiet lives
in all godliness and holiness. - I Timothy 2: 1, 2b
