Each day we shared mass with our daughter and The Community of the Lamb! How they love and need their Jesus and how they love and Adore Him!
Jesus is so huge in The Word for them as they begin the night before in Evening prayer maundicating the Word/Gospel/Jesus... they read the Gospel for the next day and then they speak each line 3 times, than they sing it at least twice.... the Holy Spirit brings it very powerfully into the light and speaks to us as we lovingly pray it!
Little Brother Francis Zavior proudly displays the golden moist wonderful turkey! It is a sight for many that have seen the pictures only of American Thanksgiving and are only experiencing it for the first or second time. Francis has had 5 now!

Yes, there was a cute tune to greet the pilgrims and the Indians!
Unplanned but Pat wore blue for the entire weekend and even shared dishwashing with me! Prayer and dishes are how Hallel describes her life, and we were so happy to share day to day with them as we were allowed to live right there with them!
These bowls came with them from France and are for their coffee and Pat's tea in the morning!

Each morning we arrised at 6:30 and for two hours we chanted about 5 Psalms, maundicated the Gospel over again including the finding of echoes from throughout the Bible - old and new testament along with a reading from one of the Church Fathers about that part of the Gospel! So many jewels discovered and taking us deep into the Way, the Truth and the LIFE we find in Jesus!
A very special Postulant with the Little Brothers, Jed! He is blind and we were gifted with visiting with his parents on our trip down to KC! It was so special to share time with him over Thanksgiving!

Pie making with fresh chicken eggs before we headed out into the first of the storms we are being hit with! The first hour was very slow with snow blowing across the roads and only traveling about 35 miles per hour!
We drove out of it and the other 7 hours were good. Home was challenging for the last half of the trip with freezing rain on the roads. The last hour was the best as we got close to home the roads were still dry. Lots of prayers as we listened to JRR Tolkein's Fellowship of the Ring!

Lumen Christi - the LIGHT of Christ Monastery greeted us aglow on the top of the hill in the poor neighborhood in inner city Kansas City, Kansas!
A man from the neighborhood described it as the Lighthouse on the hill - "I used to carry a knife with me always, but now I feel safe with The Community in our midst."
St Ages and my hubby sharing evening prayer with The Community... I am blessed with sharing in the LIFE I also discerned and it brought me into The Church with my family of 13 in 1971! I can have the joy of sharing in Hallel's life of prayer, sacraments, Jesus in His Word, and dishes!

Hallel putting Jesus in the Monstrance for Adoration. We had wonderful time in prayer each day! I told Jed's mother that when Hallel comes home for a home visit every 3-4 years that we need to find Mass and time of prayer in front of the tabernacle for a Holy Hour as this is her beloved Spouse and this is as the air that she breathes and every beat of her heart! "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!"
We prayed this together at the end of prayer! So powerful and includes the motto they live by in Community..."Wounded, I will never cease to love." Hard to do, but with the Lamb showing us the way we need to persevere!
In morning prayer today we were reminded that we need to follow after Jesus and take up our Cross! Yes! Truly forgiving as He forgives us and shows us unconditional mercy!

Little Sister Pauline is from France and this is about her 4th Thanksgiving!
In the Homily Little Brother Isaac, shared that the French need to adopt Thanksgiving because they tend to be complaining and negative and this holiday of thankfulness is very wonderful and uplifting to experience in our wonderful country. It did make me feel warm inside even though there is a lot of darkness and ugliness accepted as Truth in our country.
A wonderful gathering of 3 of our kids going on in Minnesota gave us a lot of JOY!

LOVE this sight! My wonderful parents out at my brother's home for Thanksgiving with 3 of my brothers and their wives! My parents look so great, and this makes the difficult move we had to make for them all worth it!
During evening prayer as they approach the adoring of Jesus they raise their hands in praise and adoration of their Jesus with incense rising with their prayers.
We had an intimate breakfast with our daughter in the parlor and the cross outside the window.
Our farewell bowls of coffee and tea as we bid our daughter, farewell til next time!
The first habits made by Little Sister Marie was made from old blue jeans, and Pat fit in as if wearing his blue jean habit matching his daughter!
Jesus, we love you more and more as we are allowed to share in this total LOVE given you by The Community of the Lamb! We see how they take you into themselves in Word, Body and Blood with each day...From Romans 10 today we read this truth -
As it is written,How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news! This is so true of the Little Sisters and Brothers!

Jesus, you are shared in Word and deed by Our Community of the Lamb, and we pray that we may go forth as they do loving and serving without counting the cost! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
