"Where can I go from your Spirit?" "For the Spirit of the Lord fills the world..."/Always forgive to increase our faith

 Pat making our youngest grandchild, Jude, giggle with glee!

 The familiar kissing of the cheek and neck with his day old whiskers - "Whisker rub" that I have witnessed with our kids and now our 18 grandkids.  My champion for life and family loves all little lives that have come into our domestic Church/family!

Jude lit up when grandpa gave him such loving attention!

It was a joy to discover that the Psalm today was Psalm 139!  So powerful and a beautiful reminder of how The Trinity dwells within us!
O LORD, you have probed me and you know me;
you know when I sit and when I stand;
you understand my thoughts from afar.
My journeys and my rest you scrutinize,
with all my ways you are familiar.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know the whole of it.
Behind me and before, you hem me in
and rest your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
too lofty for me to attain.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.
Where can I go from your spirit?
From your presence where can I flee?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I sink to the nether world, you are present there.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.
If I take the wings of the dawn,
if I settle at the farthest limits of the sea,
Even there your hand shall guide me,
and your right hand hold me fast.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.

It was all too good!!  Such a sense of how we are His!  How we are filled with His Spirit and are being led by that Spirit in all that we say and do on this journey of LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!  We cannot escape Him, nor would we ever want to be separated from His Love for us and unconditional forgiveness!  Today in the Gospel Jesus reminds us that we are to forgive over and over without end, and also to ask for forgiveness from those we have hurt... usually those the closest to us!
 Pat with his beloved Joy Jean -JJ- our youngest granddaughter.  After her we had our 3 grandsons in 6 weeks last winter.

Pat sees Joy daily and gives her so many hugs and kisses!  She lives with her family on the family farm now, and Pat leaves here every day to go to work for the first time in our married life.  It is starting to feel normal after almost 3 years living off the farm for me to say to him as he leaves in the morning; "Goodbye, honey, have a good day!"
 Jude hanging out with grandma and Fatty the cat last night while mom and dad celebrated their 2 year engagement anniversary with a date.  Tomorrow is Fatty ( St Josaphat) feast day!  The day we found him in the hay - deserted by his mother cat in the cold!
 He squealed with delight to see an animal in the house, who was soft and cute.
 Making friends, and then Jude ate 3 bowls of squash and applesauce!  He loved it!  I would barely get a spoonful in and his mouth would be wide open for the next bite!  That is why we do the work!  Homegrown squash and our homemade applesauce being loved by an 7 1/2 month old boy... the happiness factor is sky high!
Then those special grandpa snuggles... a special time indeed!

Happy boy with his grandpa, Dale!  Jude is such a wonderfully happy and healthy and fun boy!

The first reading today is now from Wisdom and this line jumped out to me today...
"Because God is the witness of his inmost self
and the sure observer of his heart
and the listener to his tongue.
For the Spirit of the Lord fills the world..."  Wisdom 1

It seems that another version of Psalm 139 - we are His and we want to eliminate any distraction, sin or wrong turn.  His we want to be always and forever!
 My mother's painting of me with two of my brothers...

I am thinking about my parents a lot today after our last few months with them.  I was gifted with 8 weeks of spending the middle of each week with both of my parents in their former home 4 hours away.  My chapel on wheels was a happy place filled with my 8 decades of the rosary and my chaplet and lots of Christian music!  Then I would have those peaceful days with my parents and caring for their needs and making and sharing their meals.  So precious to me, and I find myself missing those times.

I have fake plans to get up there at the end of the week, but I have some loose ends to figure out.  I leave it in His hands and trust.  There is a new home for them now that allows us to know they are in good hands.
Another of my mother's art works that hung on the wall in the room I would stay in while I visited them.  My two younger sisters and I in the sandbox almost 65 years ago now.

Jesus, we never want to escape from your presence within us.  We want to love and serve you with our all and to rid ourselves of those elements that separate us from your LOVE!  If only we let go and let God and forgive over and over without end... our Faith will increase!  "Wounded, I will never cease to love!"  This is the Truth we embrace and live by.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
 The Lamb in the Cupala of Lumen Christi Monastery/Light of Christ of the Little Sisters of the Lamb!  Our family of the Lamb brought into our lives by the "yes" to her spouse, Jesus, by our daughter, Little Sister Hallel!  Our family grew by hundreds and the prayers that surround us have been the wind beneath our wings!  Bless-bless, Barb
Mom and dad's new home in Assisted Living in New Hope!  It is very much similar to their old wonderful home for the last 9 years!  I am yearning to get back for some precious time with them soon.  Lord, I place it in your hands, and trust.
