Watching football and talking farming in their cozy place!
Dad talked about his getting out to activities and even mom has joined in some of them! We are loving this stretch of good health!
John, Bobbi and Jude were up at Nancy's for a play and so they jogged over to introduce sweet fun 8 month old Jude to my parents for the first time.
They had hoped to introduce him to them at their 70th anniversary party in August, which had to be canceled due to dad being in the hospital. This was much more intimate and special for them to have them meet Jude!
They joined us for lunch and Jude ate an entire dinner roll and some fruit! He approved of the food!
He entertained them all with his cute and fun ways - standing by great-grandma's footstool and smiling his sweet smile at them!
In the office of morning prayer we often on Sundays and other high feast days repeat these words from Daniel 3
"...praiseworthy and exalted above all forever."
Certainly these times of sharing family with both of my parents are filled with a lot of thankfulness and JOY, and praiseworthy and exalted above all forever!
Jude loving his food with the rest of us on grandpa Pat's lap!
Our Lady looking down on them while he watches football on daddy's lap! How I hope that you can visit your wonderful great-grands often and find them happy and in good health, little Jude!
We crunched the numbers and decided that he was #54 great- grand with 2 now here since and 3 more to come... we are soon to reach 59 great-grands! LIFE is so wonderful and the greatest of gifts!
"Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of our fathers,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever;
And blessed is your holy and glorious name,
praiseworthy and exalted above all for all ages."
R. Glory and praise for ever!
"Blessed are you in the temple of your holy glory,
praiseworthy and glorious above all forever."
R. Glory and praise for ever!
"Blessed are you on the throne of your Kingdom,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever."
R. Glory and praise for ever!
"Blessed are you who look into the depths
from your throne upon the cherubim,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever."
R. Glory and praise for ever!
"Blessed are you in the firmament of heaven,
praiseworthy and glorious forever."
R. Glory and praise for ever!"
The Psalm from Daniel 3 today is praising our Lord to the highest heaven! Hallelujah!
Jude is loving great-grandpa's cane!
We got a memory recorded and hopefully more times to come in the future. We are thankful and grateful for time with both my parents in their new home!
Yes, this is Thanksgiving week and I am pulling things together so that we can go and spend some time with our nun, Little Sister Hallel, in KC!
Our Minnesota families will be gathering at Nancy's in Delano while we are in KC with Hallel and Joe and Maria are with his brother in Washington.
My parents were able to see how wonderful Jude is... John and Bobbi had a easy boy to begin their family and they are so grateful!
Bernadette is now 7 with Rose and Patrick... she loves the babies, too, and Jude was happy to share the playtime on the floor with her! Love sharing the hoods!
George and Jude are 6 weeks apart... Jude will be 8 months tomorrow, and George is 9 1/2 months! It was great fun to see them together at the crawl stage!
Advent starts this next weekend, and mom has started to promote the season outside their room... LOVE!
The spotless Lamb!!!
Thanksgiving 3 years ago in KC at Lumen Christi Monastery. I will be bringing pumpkin pies and a turkey and stuffing for my nun daughter! LOVE to bring her memories of Thanksgiving on the farm in our home growing up!
Hallel has been away in Europe for almost 10 years, so this is such a treat for Pat and I to share Thanksgiving with our Family of the Lamb in KC!!
Nancy and Bill in KC 3 years ago... they have added George for his first Thanksgiving and all of their first Thanksgiving in their new home in Delano! They will have a housefull with Ruth and Paul and their 6 kids and John, Bobbi and Jude!
My parents will be sharing Thanksgiving with 3 of my brothers and their wives! So great that they are now close to many of our huge family! I am the oldest of 11 and my family alone is almost 30! We are approaching 140 in The Cross Clan!!
Pat's sister, Ida, watched the two boys while they went to the play Saturday night! She gifted me with pictures of them playing together!
Climbing a few stairs is always intriguing!
Thanks, Ida!!!
Good boy at mass!
Such a sweetie pie is George!
All somewhat included in a selfie of Nancy's bunch after mass for...

These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called and chosen and and faithful. Revelation 17:14
