Hector is now 8 1/2 months old! He is learning from his brothers to be an actor and to wear many hats!

His role model - big brother Little Dave, who is now 9 and behind his brother, Romeo, who is now 5...

Our little red haired Rome is heart melting cute and sweet, but every bit boy!

Now Therese age 11 1/2 is perfecting her baking skills with scrumptious pumpkin pies made from fresh pumpkins! Maria said that they disappeared quickly around their household.
"T got a baking urge on Veteran's Day.
She decided on her first from-scratch pumpkin pies in preparation for Thanksgiving.
These pictures do a pretty good job explaining how delicious they were."
Who says that being a homemaker is out dated? This sweet girl has taken on sewing, gardening, canning, baking form scratch, and doing it all with a determined and loving attitude! You amaze me Therese!
Today the reading is the story of Zacchaeus, and the words of Christ to him as he looks up at him in the tree so that he can find and see Jesus ring loud and clear to me as Truth!
So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus,
who was about to pass that way.
When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said,
“Zacchaeus, come down quickly,
for today I must stay at your house.”
who was about to pass that way.
When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said,
“Zacchaeus, come down quickly,
for today I must stay at your house.”
And he came down quickly and received him with joy. Luke 19
Jesus truly does dwell in our domestic Church/home and at the foot of the Cross he also gave His Mother to us to bring into our home! With Jesus and Mary in our homes comes peace, joy ( as we see already with Zacchaeus), and the True LOVE that we find when we embrace our Most Cherished Cross and find LOVE/LIFE/LIGHT!
A Homeschool Nature lesson where they spelt their names using things they found in the woods!

Fall leaves and tiny flowers, rocks and dirt...
Patrick used sticks
Romeo rocks!
David is a minimalist and did not want to be photographed with his stick and rock name...
I love these final words of the Gospel today...
For the Son of Man has come to seek
and to save what was lost.”
and to save what was lost.”
There are many places in my life that I am anxious and unsure and wanting to stay on the narrow path, but I fail. How I am needing Jesus to seek me out and save me when I am lost! How? By being there in Word, Body and Blood. By being there with His nailscarred hands open to embrace me with his unconditional love, forgiveness, and mercy. By listening to my prayers and I pray without ceasing with His Mother, who lifts my needs to her Son!
The war cottage was built by the kids, Joe and friends and neighbors! A place of great imagination and play battles!
3 year old Evie can battle with the best of them!
Therese did the fall décor with real leaves around the house and elsewhere! Mary certainly dwells in their home! They say the entire family rosary each day together!
Jesus and Mary, I love you, save all those that are lost this day/Save souls! How I love to have you dwelling in the inner chapel of my domestic Church/home! Sharing our Faith as a family is what gives me the most JOY of anything! May I become more and more your hands and feet... sharing the unconditional LOVE and Mercy I have been shown by you. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
Imagining them all with lit candles around the house!
Pumpkins from an on post crafting night tell the story of where their hearts lie...
"When it comes to life, the critical thing is whether we take things for granted or take them with gratitude." G.K. Chesterton
So many great men in The Church that can help us down the narrow path with their love of God and The Church and their wisdom! Bless-bless, Barb
Thank God!

PRAYER FOR PEACE AND JOY IN FAMILY
Loving Heavenly Father,The Word of God says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds". Even now, we pray with one accord that You may pour Your divine peace in our family.
Lord, we believe that You dwell in the high and holy place, with them who have a contrite and humble spirit. You have assured us that if two of us agree on earth concerning anything that we ask, it will be done. So we come to Your presence with all humility and with oneness of mind that You may dwell with us and be the Head of this family. Riches and honor, enduring riches and righteousness are with You, Lord.
Bless us with all abundance and joy. Be with us and guide us in all that we do. May Your name be glorified in our family, now and forever. Amen.
"NOW THEREFORE, LET IT PLEASE YOU TO BLESS THE HOUSE OF YOUR SERVANT, THAT IT MAY CONTINUE FOREVER BEFORE YOU; FOR YOU, O LORD GOD, HAVE SPOKEN IT, AND WITH YOUR BLESSING LET THE HOUSE OF YOUR SERVANT BE BLESSED FOREVER."
- 2 Samuel 7:29
