The Gospel comes to LIFE in France!/The vine and the branches - "he prunes so that it bears more fruit." - Fr Stu! - +JMJ+

LOVE to look back 5 years ago.  Nancy and Bill were living half an hour from The Community of the Lamb in Shawnee, KS.  All of the little sisters and little brothers came over to meet their new baby, George!  Such a precious picture in prayer in Lumen Christi/LIGHT of Christ Monastery as I was there praying.
Mary and her date last evening at the MHS Prom!
With mom, Ruth!
7 years ago - baby Joy in her Baptismal gown which has been handed down from her 2 older sisters, her mom and her 3 sisters, too!  It was sown by their grandmother, Anna Verly, and Joy's great grandmother.
A morning bath to sweet newborn Joy Jean 7 years ago.  She was born on March 31st, 2017.
Double Sacraments 7 years ago - Joy's Baptism in the middle of David's First Communion with over 50 others!  Fr Paul's message - "I baptized you 7 years ago, and where have you been?  Please come to receive Jesus in Body, Blood and Word each week."
Joy and Tom were here for the Prom.  Their farm cat recognizes Joy, and was very loving towards her.
Joy and Neumann...
Cozy nap!
Snuggly...
Even though she was up at the Prom until 3a, Mary went to Mass with her family at 8a.
Uncle John with his Mary Angela 10 years ago at her First Holy Communion.  Now she is graduating High School and on to the UofM for Ag Communications.
I forget why 13 yeas ago they had gotten all these Easter lily's, but we took advantage of them for some special family pictures with Our Lady.

Simon's First Communion 11 years ago.  He is our oldest grandchild and started the Sacraments for our now 23 grandchildren!  Such a wonderful example of taking his faith to heart and loving and serving the Church with his talent and treasure - his voice!
Every Sunday since and when at the Catholic School during the week, too!
Bringing forth the chalices. We lost our pastor, Fr Tony, last night.  He said mass for us the last time a couple weeks ago.  Barely able to lift the chalice at the consecration, but he wanted to be there as long as he could!
All in white - Simon and Our Spiritual Mother.
One of the 9 farm kittens has a funny black mustache- her name, Kitler!
Joy with a gray one.
The Easter candle in France at the Final vows of little brother, Jean Marie.  So beautiful in every way!
LOVE to see our Kansas City little brothers together for this huge step for Jean Marie.  To see David and Louis Marie right behind him for the ceremony.  David is blind and in a strange church - he had his hand on Louis Marie to know where to go.  Such a powerful moment to witness of brothers caring for each other.
They form a Cross as the Kyrie and the Litany of Saints is sung.  The entire church was filled with the beautiful singing as of angels in heaven!
LOVE to see the founder and foundress - little sister Marie and Fr Jean Claude, who has been very sick in the hospital.  So powerful that they are still alive and taking their vows - " I promise unto death."
little brother, Dominic Francis, is in charge of the little brothers!
Receiving the Lamb which signifies that they are fully professed.
Sealed with the Lamb - "Wounded, I will never cease to love."
Our 2 Postulants - Abbey and Collette, who will be taking the habit in a few months in France!
The rule that they live by - Poverty, Chastity and Obedience

Kissing the Lamb.
Dominic Francis washing their feet - the Gospel come to LIFE!
Kissing their feet - humble to the max!
Marie did this for Hallel when she took her final vows in France 6 years ago in August 2018!  24 of us went to be there for this marriage of Hallel to her spouse, Jesus!  3 of them were in the womb!
The kiss of his feet!
Such a glorious Mass with many priests - Heaven comes down to earth!

Pat and I have finally gotten the chance with the rain delay to watch Fr Stu two nights in a row!  We chose to watch the one with the swearing removed.  We tearfully watched his story of all that he had to endure always with the fact that our suffering brings us closer to our Lord!  When I read the Gospel for today of the way the Lord prunes the branches off he vine so that more fruit comes forth!  Fr Stu is a prime example of how that it Truth!
Such a beautiful sight - David with his hand on his brother, Louis Marie - they are truly brothers!  Such a heart warming sight!
Now to receive the cup of Blood!

I found my beaming daughter, Hallel, coming forth in the sea of blue to receive her loving spouse, Jesus, in Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity!

It has taken 3 days to finish this, so I will end it for today.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara

A beloved 'little' community now faces a major milestone (oursundayvisitor.com)  A wonderful article on what is happening in the Community in passing on from Little sister Marie to the new prioress.  It really enlightens us on the beauty of The Community of the Lamb!

Professions perpĂ©tuelles CommunautĂ© de l'Agneau (youtube.com) - watch and listen to the singing of Angels!  So beautiful and powerful!

Final vows in France! - A view of Heaven/Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands; break into song; sing praise. Ps 98 - +JMJ+

14 years ago - I had the great JOY of taking Nancy and Bill's Engagement pictures!  The lilacs have been a tradition for bouquets for the girls.  They were not quite open yet, as this year they are still off a bit in the future.
The Stations of the Cross in the grove that Maria made when she came out of the Poor Clare Monastery after discerning for 4 months.  The 4th Station - Jesus meets his Mother.
The traditional black and white by the grain bins with lilac picture from 14 years ago.
Now #4, Josephine Francis having a second Communion Party with her class and Fr Kyle!  She has 3 older siblings and 2 younger = 6 children in the last 14 years for Nancy and Bill!  Open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS!

A classic of Joy 3 years ago bottle feeding a baby calf with great JOY!  Sundress and rubber boots make it the best!!
Jesus, you are always there for us!  May we adore and worship you without end!

The Psalm for today is Psalm 98.  I have been watching our friend, little brother Jean Marie taking his final vows in France.  In a most beautiful heavenly church and with the voices of Angels singing in French!  So many of their songs are familiar and I can recall them in English!

Look alike sisters - Therese and Evangeline about 4 years ago.

14 years ago Engagement picture of Nancy and Bill!  Nancy called them "babies".

France 6 years ago for Hallel's final vows!  The sunflowers were blooming!  The Gospel came to life as we moved the mountain across the ocean - 24 to France with 3 in the womb!  We are forever blessed with our nun and her Community of the Lamb!  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 33 plus many little sisters and little brothers.
"If only we had the humility to realize that He alone is
Goodness and makes us good. As soon as we come into
His Presence in the Eucharist, our souls respond to the power
before them like a sunflower turning towards the sun.

His silent Presence, hidden in the tabernacle,
says to each one of us, 'I love you.  Come to Me
all you who labor and are burdened and I will
refresh you.  Come to the fountain of life and drink.
Tell Me your problems.  Listen to My voice.  I tug at your
heart, guiding your way and smoothing your path.'

There is between the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus
and the soul, a silent exchange of love, sharing of
pain, an inaudible dialogue between two who know
each other perfectly and love each other deeply.
It is as if the soul sees itself in a perfect Mirror
and knows clearly its faults and imperfections.

A strange phenomenon occurs
as the soul gazes at Jesus.
Its own reflection becomes brighter.
Its faults fade away and one day that 'soul is turned -
transformed into the image it reflected' (II Cor 3:18).

This being true, why do we permit our souls
to die of thirst when the Fountain of Living
Water is just around the corner?"
