Mary is 18 today!!!/Tom time surrounded by spring Green!/John 6 and the calling of Paul - our cup overflows!/4 year since dad came- +JMJ+

Mary's 10th birthday 8 years ago... Yes, today she is 18!  She will be celebrating her birthday at a sorority at the U of M as she is throwing her hat in to become a State FFA Officer.  Such a bright shining light, who loves her Ag background.
This is such a fun memory for me.  I used to take so many pictures of Mary -she was my prime subject for many years.  This jacket I found at a second hand store - shopping with my mom in Wisconsin.  It fit her beautifully and she loved it!  Since than Rose has worn it, and soon Joy too!
Her 8th birthday card from grandma!
With her sister, Rose Again.

Mary' graduation announcement just arrived... she will be attending the U of M for Ag Communications and Marketing.
Fall pictures at Camden State Park last fall.
An Easter birthday 10 years ago...

Tom on the swing yesterday with her special rubber boots.  We sure had a good time and I can't get over the fluorescent green grass all around him!
Such a sweet boy in a sea of green!
Pointing to Neumann's claws that come out of his paws.
Sharing an ice cream bar...
Playing on grandma's bed.
Apple slice and Mater - he loves to chase the kitties with his Mater toy and they run away while he giggles.
One minute...

Rainy day nap grandpa and Tom Tom.
Tom loves grandma's house and is my little buddy - he was watching the rain outside while grandma did her prayers in her prayer space.
6 years ago with baby Joy- she just turned 7 on March 31st.

Nancy sent this picture of Dominic serving at mass for the first time with his big brother, Augustine.
Heaven comes down to earth when we gather at Mass each day.  St Maxmilian Kolbe Catholic School in Delano, MN.  On Sunday we will be gathering up there for soon to be 8 year old Josephine's First Holy Communion.
Talk about Heaven - The St Paul Cathedral where my brother was a sponsor for the confirmation of his Godson.
Super fun!  The Spring concert at HRS!  Rose was one of the super hero's PINK!  Singing with grades from Kindergarten to 6th grade.  The message was The Truth that Jesus is there for us no matter what!  So good!!

Today the readings from mass are amazing!  From Acts - the conversion of Saul into St Paul on the road to Damascus!  "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?"
He said, "Who are you, sir?"
The reply came, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
Now get up and go into the city and you will be told what you must do."  Acts 9

Such a powerful and amazing story especially when you know all the books in the New Testament written so powerfully by St Paul!!!

The Gospel today is that one we cling to as Catholics - talk about the Truth which is swept under the rug!  For my Flesh is true food,

and my Blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood
remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me
and I have life because of the Father,
so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven.
Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died,
whoever eats this bread will live forever."  John 6:52-59

Tommy and grandma spent a lot of time enjoying the sun out on the porch.  He loves to push Mater around and chase the cat.
Green grass, sun, Tom and the cat...
LOVE my porch furniture.  It was especially deeply moving to recall that my dad came to live with me for the last 6 months of his life on hospice on April 16, 2020!  We would sit out on my beautiful porch each day at 3p to pray the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy together.  To now spend time with Tom there made me smile and shed a tear or two.

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: Deacon Robert Cross - my dad on hospice in our Farm Monastery for 6 months - 4/16/20 thru 10/23/20

Birthday girl Mary with her family and Great- grandpa Deacon Robert Cross 4 years ago... she was 14!
Dad and I praying on the porch each day from the beginning of spring to the first snow!  Dad got to watch an entire growing season from my porch at my Farm Monastery!

My father brought our entire family of 13 into The Catholic Church 53 years ago!!!  He was a Protestant Minister!  My entire LIFE is blessed each day with this amazing gift to me!  Thank you, my father and mother!

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The amazing story of the 13 becoming Catholic!

Tom on the 4 wheeler - He is named after my dad - Thomas Robert Lanoue.  Dad prayed mightily for all his grandkids, kids and great-grands - First and Middle name each Monday!  I am sure that he prays for his namesake in heaven even though he came after dad passed.
He humbles me with his love for his old grandma.  I am not used to this devotion.  Pat, the old farmer, is the one the kids usually love so much!  He is the best ever family man!
Nap in grandma's bed...
Rose again!  They are on their way to Kansas right now!  Grandpa is driving down with Rose, David and Luke to cheer on Therese and David, who are running a marathon outside of Kansas City tomorrow!
Mary with Jesus the Lamb on the Cross and under the altar this morning as I prayed with 7 Sisters for Fr Denny.
Easter Lilly with Jesus in the tabernacle and the Lamb under the altar.  The Lamb is so powerful and REAL to us as our daughter, Little Sister Hallel, is a nun with The Community of the Lamb.  The motto they live by - "Wounded, I will never cease to love!"
Clear span beauty of our glorious church - stepping into heaven!
Praying for Mary on her 18th birthday today! The 4th Station of the Cross - Jesus meets his mother.
Surrounded by Mary!  The Mother of God statue, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help!
Pat leaving for Fort Leavenworth, KS to cheer on Maria's 2 oldest - 16 year old Therese, and 14 year old David are running the marathon!

Grandpa Farmer Pat on the road to KCK with 3 of the farm kids!  Prayers for safe travels and a wonderful time supporting family.  "Family time is always important!"  Pat Verly

Pat and I have been watching the Chosen - I am so moved and touched - we have now finished Season 3 and I am not the same!  Jesus has touched and changed me!
Dear Lord Jesus Christ!  How we love you and long to serve you without counting the cost.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 33 plus many little sisters and little brothers.
