Nancy described how they went from his baptism at The Cathedral just minutes away from the Little Sisters and Brothers..."We took him there to let them all hold him and smell the chrism on this new child of The Church."
They then took a family picture in the Grotto of The Nativity... with 2 of our new grandsons here and one baby Verly due any day... this place of pilgrimage/miracles and healing where we hold dear the coming of our Salvation into the world - God in flesh appeared - speaks volumes of all the prayers said for them and their mothers and thanksgiving for such an outpouring of LOVE/LIFE/LIGHT!
This is a picture of so many answered prayers for Nancy after two heart breaking losses last year, and for Hallel to be able to be here in the U.S. and more a part of her family after 9 years away!
I have Archbishop Naumann to thank for Hallel having Kansas City to come to just 7 hours from our door to their's. As Divine Providence would have it... just when Hallel was answering her call from Jesus to become his bride... the Community of the Lamb came to the U.S. to start their first foundation here in Kansas City! She then anwered an enthusiastic "Yes!"

Hallel told us of her entering The Community of the Lamb in front of Our Lady in their chapel with the foundress and founder there, too! It was summer of 2008.. she left for France in September. It has been a most powerful amazing journey and our family has grown by hundreds!

This handwritten scripture she left behind on her dresser...
"I belong to my love, and his desire is for me." Song of Songs 7:11 Wow!
Maria sent this of Hector... he is up over a pound from his last weighin and so content and good for her! #6 came home to all the sound of his siblings now on the outside that he listened to on the inside while he was being formed and loved in the womb of his mother! He fit in so beautifully and is getting so much love from all!!!
The readings today are about listening to our Lord and His Bride, The Church, so that we may enter the Land He has for us... Heaven/eternal LIFE forever with Mary, Jesus and All the Saints, and our little innocent losses along the way... 7 children and 5 grandchildren we will meet for the first time! The Psalm is an Hallel Psalm of total praise!
R. (12a) Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem;
praise your God, O Zion.
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates;
he has blessed your children within you.
R. Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
Psalm 147... when we speak of Jerusalem we are speaking of the Eternal City/Heaven!
The "children within you " is especially powerful this day!
Nancy shared with us her growing son, George, who at 5 weeks was Baptized on Sunday! George we pray that you will always love and follow after Jesus and His glorious, beautiful, wise, splendid Bide, The Church!
Archbishop Joseph Naumann baptizing George! He is my hero, as he is a strong true voice for LIFE as head of Pro-life committee of the Bishops of the U.S. He also brought Hallel's community to the heart of Amercia where they bring LIGHT to all confused by the culture of death and darkness of sin!
Nancy said this with a full heart - "Goodness, the sacraments are so beautiful!!
A small slice of heaven we are given as we follow Jesus and his Bride, The Chuch!
2 1/2 year old Josephine with her baby brother, George. She had to wait the longest to be a big sister, with the losses of two in the last year, but her arms are now full and she is given the blessing of brother to make her love bigger and her life richer. Giving our families more members is so much more important than stuff and things and power and prestige. Jesus asks us to die to self and sharing with others and placing them and their needs above our own certainly is a wonderful way for the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and families!
Jesus, we love you and long to be forever with you while we carry/drag our Most Cherished Cross and follow you down the narrow path to find heaven forever awaiting us at the end. May we die to self so that you may live and work in and through us. We are overwhelmed by all that you give us with each new day from You in your Word, Sacrament, from our Heavenly Mother and her rosary, and The Communion of Saints! We are filled to the brim with the graces we need to love and serve those around us... most especially those in our domestic Church/family. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen
"God has placed us all in a dark room, hoping that we will have
sense enough to turn the light on... " - Mother Angelica

"There are two things I want you to do -
keep close to Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist...
(and) stay close to His Mother.
With those two loves, you will always have the light
to see what is right and what is wrong."
Mother Angelica

This is so True! Hallel reminded me of this when I had my hip replaced and I felt worthless... "Mom, when we are weak is when we turn to Jesus." May I always be weak because I always want to be with Jesus and Mary! Bless-bless, Barbara Mary Luke
Soon to be a dad! The Journey continues and we are in awe of it!

True love/the Cross - Danielle Rose
Hallel listened to this over and over before she left. It brings tears!
