Sweet roll and grandpa pop and a view from the front seat - one happy boy!
Many happy memories with the little ones along, and today we were able to make a new memory with sweet Tom!
Such a beautiful winter with white as far as the eye can see! Such a pretty sight to see!
Tom with grandma's rosary - how I love my chapel on wheels with good conversation, Fr Mike speaking about the Catechism in a year, and Tom always smiling and interacting with grandma- even hitting me with my rosary.
Always love Our Lord and Lady and their Church sweet Tommy! That is my prayer for you and all our other 22 grandkids as we travel through the white beautiful prairie.
Beautiful mommy with cactus in Pheonix - she comes home late tonight, and prayers for her to get home safely to her big wonderful family on the farm.
Tom discovered the French doors and played peak a boo with grandma as she snapped many pictures.
Too sweet and happy!
Too much fun for me to capture his JOY!
This is in my bathroom - Big shoes are great fun all the way around. The girls in my shoes, Susan/Hallel and John in my shoes, Simon in his Uncle John's red tennies, Maria in her dad's tennis shoes when she was about 2... she loved all things that were her dad's - she would drape his socks on the floor around her neck! Also Mary with kittens in some of our rubber boots.
Tom today!
Your turn grandma!
Back from hauling cattle means that Tom wants to play in the jacuzzi with grandpa watching him.
Joining grandma for her prayer time - Mother and child Jesus from Italy
The kiss of LOVE! Tom is so loving to grandma and grandpa with many kisses!
With Hallel and Mary and Jesus - I am so excited that in the early morning hours we will drive to KCK to spend the weekend with our nun, Little Sister Hallel and her Community of the Lamb! There was talk of taking a couple of the farmgirls along - Rose and Joy, but there will be other parents there, so Hallel said another time. I am sure knowing grandpa - the someday Tom will come along to visit his Aunt Hallel, who loves him so much and has prayed for him from when we first knew he was in the womb.
She has also prayed for our new girl, Lucy, who is now 2 weeks old. I have fake plans to bring lunch tomorrow and get some snuggle time. I was amazed to see her change in a week.
Very intent on her new world around her - with older brother and sister making her world loud and exciting I am sure.
It reminds me of the Gospel today from Mark 4 -
Gospel Mk 4:21-25
Jesus said to his disciples,
“Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket
or under a bed,
and not to be placed on a lampstand?
For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible;
nothing is secret except to come to light.
Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.”
The world is becoming more and more visible to sweet Lucy. I love to consider that there is nothing in our lives that has not come to the LIGHT and now we are free of those secrets! I have a real aversion to secrets, so those close to me kwow they better not say "don't tell anyone."
9 year old Dominic today - it will be gone for mass tomorrow, but he had this for the week at his Catholic School. Grandma is not sure what to think...In love with my Big Shoe pictures. Oh Tom, your big open smile of JOY is the best!!!
He did take some steps in these huge and heavy shoes.
The magic 3 pictures!
Stunning - eating under lemon trees in Italy. It seems like Italy is all things beautiful to me! And then there is Rome - the home of The Catholic Church! Rome sweet Home!
My tamed wild Tom cat - Cally, all snuggly by Our Lady and Jesus!
The caption - Truth is Beautiful - Yes!!! LOVE this and The Truth which set us free - all the secrets come into the LIGHT!
Yesterday in the Magnificat! So amazing on how we are changed when we meet Jesus! Bless-bless, Barbara and the 34
