"Good" Agatha - Come to encounter Jesus at TEC!/ John's Bday and grandkid weekend/"touch the tassel of his cloak" - +JMJ+

Lucy Marie is a mid January birthday and turned one on the 11th, and her daddy, John had his birthday on Saturday and was 35.  After a get away for an overnight John and family celebrated here with a party of Ruth's 6 and John's 3 - instant party!

The day before John's birthday was the Feast of the Presentation in the temple , and 2 days after is the Feast of St Agatha, which means "good."  She can show us how to give our all and be good in this lifetime.  She gave her life for Jesus as a martyr.

"Happy Birthday to you!" and "God is blessing you now."  from the housefull of family for John's big day.  Bobbi made his desire for his birthday her wonderful cheesecake.

John's wonderful life and healing are waves of JOY that wash over us to see his wife and 3 children showering him with love on his 35th birthday.  His half-hearted prayer for Faith and the brain cancer battle that followed 14 years ago...

The Gospel today where many crowded around Jesus and those that "Touched the tassel of his cloak" to be healed.   Reminds me of a special event that I attended at St Thomas University when Susan was in Catholic Studies there... it is called Cor Jesu - heart of Jesus!  There was praise and worship music, Adoration and Reconciliation all around the church with numerous priests.  Around the base of the monstrance was a scarf that many could come forward and hold onto while they prayed - the hem of his garment!  So powerful!!

John's Spirit Juice Video - longing to share his story far and wide!

A tub full!!!  All brought their swim suits and even little Lucy had to get in with the help of 11 year old Rose Again.  There are certain things that happen when we have grandkids overnight from the tub to water coloring and running around the circle.  Instead of the cooking channel - we watched Homestead Rescue.
I had lots of good helpers - Luke made pancakes and eggs for 10!  He doesn't get much cooking time because his older siblings like to cook especially big brother, David.  I find it very interesting that my grandsons like to be in the kitchen and cook more so than the granddaughters who like to bake more.

One year old Lucy joined in the running around the circle!  The bigger kids were careful to run around her and she felt so big!!!
Joy happy and healthy with some good exercize!
Special family prayer time before they headed off to bed.  The wooden chalice we got at a Hospice ball years ago has been a favorite play mass game.
Pancakes for 10 on Saturday.  Thanks, Luke!
Neumann never had it so good with lots of love!
Super soft picture - Lucy with Neumann on my mom's chair in my bedroom.

There are a couple very wonderful events coming up - this next weekend we will be with our 2 daughters in Kansas!  It is a parents weekend with the Community of the Lamb as a family is coming for the first time from Georgia.  Collete is a postulant and her family is coming including her youngest sister, who is going to receive her First Communion at mass on Sunday!  Wow!

The following weekend will be a TEC - Together Encounter Christ weekend retreat.  TEC has been so important in our family after our 3 oldest daughters attended and each came back inviting their old parents to go.  It was lifechanging for us and so important in our marriage for the last 25 years!  We are both working and I am giving my most favorite talk - Church , People of God!  My total LOVE for Jesus, Mary and The Church fills me with Fire of LOVE and JOY!
Lucy and Neumann.  He is off to the vet in the morning to be neutered and get his shots.
Some of the many pictures of there two cuties...
Catholic Schools week at St Agnes in St Paul.  So precious!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 33 plus many Little Sisters and Little Brothers.
