The day before John's birthday was the Feast of the Presentation in the temple , and 2 days after is the Feast of St Agatha, which means "good." She can show us how to give our all and be good in this lifetime. She gave her life for Jesus as a martyr.
John's wonderful life and healing are waves of JOY that wash over us to see his wife and 3 children showering him with love on his 35th birthday. His half-hearted prayer for Faith and the brain cancer battle that followed 14 years ago...
The Gospel today where many crowded around Jesus and those that "Touched the tassel of his cloak" to be healed. Reminds me of a special event that I attended at St Thomas University when Susan was in Catholic Studies there... it is called Cor Jesu - heart of Jesus! There was praise and worship music, Adoration and Reconciliation all around the church with numerous priests. Around the base of the monstrance was a scarf that many could come forward and hold onto while they prayed - the hem of his garment! So powerful!!

John's Spirit Juice Video - longing to share his story far and wide!I had lots of good helpers - Luke made pancakes and eggs for 10! He doesn't get much cooking time because his older siblings like to cook especially big brother, David. I find it very interesting that my grandsons like to be in the kitchen and cook more so than the granddaughters who like to bake more. One year old Lucy joined in the running around the circle! The bigger kids were careful to run around her and she felt so big!!!
Joy happy and healthy with some good exercize!
Special family prayer time before they headed off to bed. The wooden chalice we got at a Hospice ball years ago has been a favorite play mass game.
Pancakes for 10 on Saturday. Thanks, Luke!
Neumann never had it so good with lots of love!
Super soft picture - Lucy with Neumann on my mom's chair in my bedroom.
