Cutting lots of onions for 10 batches of spaghetti sauce!
John and his youngest, Lucy, came along to help out on our family canning day. The tomatoes are coming late this year, so we are canning without the school kids. Usually we have many more hands to help with all the jobs!
Oh how this is true for me! I love all that we are given by our wise and wonderful True Church!
I am so sad and can't understand how it ever got acceptable to murder children in the womb! One from Maria with her 2 youngest today! LOVE!
Time with just Joy last week - we did her hair and then we went out at sunset to visit the soybean and corn fields that are ripening naturally and not from drought!
Our soybean field across the road from our place is at that beautiful golden stage!
Pretty hairpins in the field by our chickens
She has lost 2 top and 2 bottom teeth in the front.
So special to do her homework. She is a good reader and we did her Religion homework together. How we love our Catholic School! Learning how we honor the Trinity by doing the sign of the Cross!
Fun with some pretty bobbi pins I have for doing all the granddaughters hair! I have 11 of the 23 grandkids are girls and then there are 12 boys. Please respect and protect life from conception to natural death! A girder from the twin towers held up by hands made of doves representing all that died that day in 9/11/01
School boys with the spaghetti sauce we made while they were in school!
40 quart pan and 20 quarts in the pail.
So special to work with 2 of our 5 kids! We are on our way to KCK to see our nun and can again with our military family - soup this time!
Our 2 youngest grandkids with 2 of the 5 pails of Tomatoes.
Jesus - the name above every name!! How my dad loved it and underlined NAME wherever he found it in his prayer of The Church!
I am frantically getting ready for a party here tonight and leaving before dawn for Kansas tomorrow! This will have to do for now. Jesus travel with us! Bless-bless, Barb and the 33
We have started something with the traveling canning... Wow! And today is hubby's 70th birthday in the midst of it all! And grandson Romeo too!
