In the midst of the Canning season/Harvest is here/Grandparents day at HRS/Jesus Freaks return with Charlie! - +JMJ+

Baby Tom 3 years ago as harvest begins on grandpa Pat's lap.  He was about 10 months old here, and in November he will be 4.
Grandparent celebration at Holy Redeemer School yesterday morning with my 5 Holy Redeemer grandkids!  All the way from Rose in 8th grade, Luke in 6th grade, Joy in 3rd grade, Jude in 1st grade and Birdie in Kindergarten!  Three of Ruth's in the upper grades and 2 of John's in the lower.
Before breakfast which was wonderful!  How we love our Catholic School!  For the Lanoues - their mom, Ruth, was our oldest that blazed the trails for the other 4 including John!  The special part of John's story with HRS is that his wife, Bobbi, was a classmate at HRS too!  Yes, all 9 years at Holy Redeemer School!  So special to have them all attending our wonderful Catholic School!  Plus their grandpa Pat and his siblings attended HRS!!  Talk about history!

Ruth took 2 pails of tomatoes and had a salsa day all by herself.  84 pints of Salsa might be enough for their family of 9.
On Wednesday Ruth and I picked 7 1/2 pails between our gardens.  WE made 5 1/2of them into stewed, and the other 2 she took home to have a leisurely salsa day.  So many tomatoes this year!
This gem on the occasion of Romeo and Pat's birthdays both on September 15 - Our Lady of Sorrows!  This was 11 years ago when Pat was 60.  Now 11 years later - Romeo is 11 and Pat is 71.

Our Domestic Church/family is where we share our Faith!  And it must be a father, mother and children- open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS!
This man- Cardinal Nguyen is always amazing!  Start below please!
Begin here and be blessed by his humble wisdom.  Such words of wisdom!
Talk about little - the little sisters live poor taking a vow of Poverty along with chastity and obedience!  Tom and Gina noticed their little sink and their sponges - so they enjoyed the water, which is cold, and decided to clean their little sink!  They do not have hot running water, and heat it on the stove to wash dishes and clean.

The beautiful lessons we learn from our nun and her Community of the Lamb.  Their lives are based on this Truth - "Wounded, I will never cease to love."  The Lamb shows us how to die to self without counting the cost!
Canning tomato soup at Maria's last week - one day back and then we headed to KCK for our surprise birthday party for Hallel!  Now back home to 7 1/2 pails more tomatoes to can!  Then yesterday I did a single day of apple pie filling!
Maria's youngest Maggie with our soup... They ate 4 quarts for supper that night.  That is why we do the work for our 6 families!  There was nothing left with a lot of smiles and yums!
My Rosary is calling out to me on this glorious fall day with harvest going on all around me.  Bean harvest is underweigh!
Such a reminder that we are childlike and need our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Remembering the poor and the humble with these two great Saints!
Blessed Solanus Casey was huge for us with John's battle with brain cancer 16 years ago!  He walked the journey to John's healing every step of the way!

Granddaughter, Rose, sent me this picture of the waves that she took in Michigan, and made me miss The Big Lake.  It goes very deep for me growing up spending my summers on Lake Michigan!
I love this because many times I get out of my chapel on wheels with my Rosary going into stores or wherever I find myself.  It is with me throughout my day!
The cows sure love this wonderful weather in the pasture behind our house.  Talk about calm and comfortable.
The Rosary fills me with a calm and PEACE when I have the beads and begin to pray.
The 3 farm kids at breakfast yesterday morning for grandparents day.
My military grandkids are so blessed to have my brother, Dan and wife, Angela close to where they live.  They gave them a party in their barn last evening complete with a bouncy house.
My brother playing croquet with some of the older kids.
Wonderful supper in the barn.  With Major Joseph gone to Poland for the year - it is so wonderful that they have them watching over them.  Thanks Dan and Angela!
A dance up in the barn with a movie too!  They are being loved real good while Major Joseph is away from his family!
Always stay close to Jesus!

Seeing the hate towards Chalie and his asasination as a result...
It has been so awesome to see the rising of so many speaking out about their faith with the death of Charlie!  It seems that much like in the 70s with the "Jesus Freaks" we are seeing once again many standing up fearlessly speaking up for their Faith in Jesus!  Darkness shall not overcome - LIGHT and Truth shall win!  Come Jesus!!!

Jesus, we love and long to share your Truth and LIGHT with all those who are so blind and lost!  St Rita, Patroness of Impossible cases, we pray that you intercede for all the evil and hatred we see all around us.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 33
St Vincent de Paul was praying before the Eucharist one time
and, after a man told him about a poor person
on the street needing help, St Vincent said:
"I am going to Jesus from Jesus."
