Now even the thought of riding that far is giving me pause... but we have fake plans to go there for Christmas with Nancy and Hallel, and I am trusting that I will be in a place to do this big trip with a few more weeks to go on the recovery.
All you need do is look to see that this is chapel filled with Jesus and so much LIGHT/LOVE/LIFE!
After our time in France this last August and living out the true miracle of moving the mountain to France for Hallel's final vows... The Lord's Mountain has filled me with JOY! At this time in early Advent we await the Lord's coming and vow to be ever prepared as we know not when!
On this mountain the LORD of hosts
will provide for all peoples
A feast of rich food and choice wines,
juicy, rich food and pure, choice wines.
On this mountain he will destroy
the veil that veils all peoples,
The web that is woven over all nations;
he will destroy death forever.
The Lord GOD will wipe away
the tears from all faces;
The reproach of his people he will remove
from the whole earth; for the LORD has spoken.
Isaiah 25
The celebratory meal on the hillside with Hallel after her vows. "I promise unto death!"
The Isaiah reading is a good description of the beauty we encountered as we were gifted with a glorious day sharing Faith and family in the foothills of France with 21 of us there for Hallel!
This year Advent has taken on a deeper meaning and Pat and I are sharing prayer morning and night together, which is a great blessing to me! I pray for my close walk with Jesus, and in my weak and lowly state I am fully aware of how much I need him.
Pondering using this for my Christmas Card this year... All married!
Jesus, how I need you and long for the perfection of your Holy Mountain to dwell on forever with you, your Mother, Mary Most Holy, all the Saints and those touched and healed by you, including this old weak woman. Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground.
Then he took the seven loaves and the fish,
gave thanks, broke the loaves,
and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.
They all ate and were satisfied.
They picked up the fragments left over–seven baskets full.
Matthew 15
