We did our job on faith formation night last night watching the kids so that their parents can teach the kids. Makes so much more sense after being told one too many times that we old folks are boring. Rose is very much loving her grandpa! She kissed him and was so happy to just spend the evening in his big arms/hands! It made for a nice quiet evening with the 4. Grandma could make supper, read stories and baths while grandpa had Rosie content... at one time after giving her her bottle they were both asleep sitting together on the couch! Bringing back happy memories of family times in the late fall after all the field work is done for the year. Cozy and snuggly times with the kids by the woodstove.
Then add a snuggly purry kitty... grandpa is a big pushover for those little ones and anything that makes them smile! He loves those babies and they love him! Soon our little granddaughter in the Cities will be here too! Thoughts and prayers going in that direction tonight, and maybe grandma soon to follow those thoughts and prayers too! Jesus, we put all life in the womb in your hands. Protect and get it here safely. Guardian angels watch out for them. Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
