Joy is now 2 1/2 and is so happy to have baby Jude in her day to day life. She beams brightly with smiles and love for him and he responds with lots of giggles and smiles!
Then the wolf shall be a guest of the lamb,

with a little child to guide them....

How the knowledge of the Lord is truly where we find that holy place in our inner temple! God's Holy Mountain can be found in The Bride of Christ - The Church!
So beautiful and speaking of The LOVE for her that we all know and share... as she is what shows us beyond a shadow of a doubt that we belong in The Church! Mary is only loved and honored and respected in The Catholic Church.

Romans 15 is the second reading today! Christ is how we find harmony with those around us most especially those the closest to us in our Domestic Church/family! He gives us so much help with each new day from The Church, His Mother Mary Most Holy, All the amazing Saints, Jesus in Word, Body and Blood, the unconditional LOVE and forgiveness given us by Our Lord Jesus in the Sacrament of healing in Reconciliation.
I am excited that my husband called to remind me that it would be wonderful to get up there to take my parents for Reconciliation before Christmas. Thank you, Pat, and Yes I would love to share that glorious sacrament with my wonderful parents!

How did this world ever come to accept the taking of innocent human life so callously and up to birth? I am baffled at how they can kill babies in the womb even from conception! Our Lady of Guadalupe come to our aide! End the horror of abortion and protect all LIFE!
Mary mentioned a tiny snake curled up in the girl's bathroom and when they reached for it thinking it was a head band rolled up and it moved... You can only imagine the screaming that erupted.. Mary saved the day by picking it up and placing it safely in the surrounding woods! Next year will be Big Dave's turn to add to the family history of Camp Foley! Great memories
The Gospel today brings us to St John the Baptist making the way for Christ! John foretold the coming of Christ in the first Advent and now we long for him to come again and take us to heaven forever... So beautifully put is our longing by Servant of God Catherine de Hueck Doherty (1985)
These two Advents blend in my soul, mind, and heart. They bring a hunger and a longing that beggars words, for they are the seasons of expectation. Expectation of what? of whom? To me. of the Tremendous Lover, or the Lord, Christ.
Jesus, Advent is such a shining gift to us as we come into the LIGHT of your Way, Your Truth and your LIFE! We open it to find such peace and joy and love all around us giving us the strength to return that love to those around us - most importantly and challenging are those the closest to us in our domestic Church/family! May we die to self so that we may take up our Most Cherished Cross and carry/drag it down the narrow path after you to find LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT with you forever in heaven. Mary bring all our loved ones to Jesus, your Son, and the most Tremendous LOVER! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
The second Sunday of Advent trumps this feast, but it is still to be celebrated, too, making this a very rich day indeed in our amazing Church!

MOTHER TERESA EXPRESS NOVENA
The Memorare was one of her secret weapons. She had a very deep love for Our Lady, and she prayed the Rosary all day long. Literally. Her rosary was always in her hands. Her lips always moving in prayer… whether silently or out loud.
In times of great need, when there seemed to be no solution to some obstacle in her way, she turned to the Memorare:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
When facing difficult circumstances, she did not pray this prayers just once. No. She would offer an “express” novena. Nine Memorares in a row. And, she always prayed a 10th Memorare in thanksgiving, confident that her prayers would be answered.
