Robin red breast in pink snow/Nutty grandma/"Come to Mary" and see what Jesus has done!

Six years ago on this day... we shared Mass in Ghent with our Hallel and her 9 nieces and nephews.  In those 6 years we have doubled to 18 grandchildren!  My to see the work of the Lord in our lives!
John assisting at mass 5 years before he married Bobbi in this beautiful country church last June! He was asking the Lord to show him the Plan he had for him and continues to this day!
A hungry robin looking for an open area to find some food... As I was attempting to get myself shoveled out I found that under the white blanket of snow is pink snow!  It is a real thing, I guess, as the terrific winds that came with the snow, hail, thunder, lightening and rain also sucked up the dust/sand from the dry deserts in the south and so we have pink snow!
Pink snow!
Finally gave up on getting out and had to pray for Father Denny from home!  "God understands."
"What the heck... there was just grass and worms here yesterday!"
Grandma has been at it again!  One has to get to Washington in a week!

How I marveled when I read the words from the Gospel of wonderful St John this day!
"Many of the Jews who had come to Mary
and seen what Jesus had done began to believe in him."  John 11:45

I know that John stood at the foot of the Cross with Mary and Jesus gave him and all of us her as our Mother, and he brought her into his home!  Looking around at the visual evidence of my devotion to her and how she is with me as a mother on this journey fills me with so much happiness and JOY!  Just lately I saw another beautiful reminder of the fact that Jesus was with Mary 10 times longer than his Disciples - her 30 and them just 3!  That says something to me so loud and clear and reminds me of my LOVE for the domestic Church we find here within our families and that is truly where The Church takes root and grows in those we share in our family!
Talk about Easter JOY!!!

Jesus, please bring spring and please keep the calves healthy through this challenging weather.  May we follow after you in this Holy Week and come ever closer to you through your loving Mother of heaven and earth!  How we are filled with so much if only we bring her into our home and all we ask is brought to you.  May we bear you to the world, O Lord, sharing your LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen
Two of the boys will be together for Easter!  Fake plans are flying all around me.  I think grandma better wear pink!  Bless-bless, Barbara Mary Luke

"An argument was once made use of by a pious painter named Leonardo.  He one day met in an inn two men, one of whom was a Lutheran and the other a Calvinist.  They were ridiculing the Catholic doctrine about the Blessed Sacrament.

The Calvinist pretended that by these words, 'This is My Body,' it was only meant that the bread signifies the Body of Christ; the Lutheran, on the other hand, asserted that this was not true, but that they meant that bread and wine, in the moment of their reception, became, by the faith of the recipient, the Body and Blood of Christ.

While this dispute was going on, Leonardo took a piece of paper and drew the image of Our Lord Jesus Christ, with Luther on the right hand and Calvin on the left.  Under the image of our Saviour, he wrote the words: 'This is My Body.' Under the figure of Calvin he wrote: 'This signifies My Body'; and under that of Luther: 'This becomes My Body in the moment that you eat it.'

Then handing the paper to the two disputants, he said: 'Which of these three is right, our Saviour, or Calvin, or Luther?'  They were struck at the force of the argument, and ceased to scoff at the Catholic doctrine."
