50th Anniversary of being Catholic - 18,250 blessed days! Hallelujah!/"Not what I want, but what the Lord wants."/Holy Family our model

Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph today - celebrating mass with 2 of our Marshall families and then breakfast with our John and his family!  Jude is 2 1/2 and Birdie is 1 1/2 ... they showed us their Christmas presents and now are checking us over with their medical equipment.
Gus and Berna 6 years ago at my home parish, Basilica of St Mary... reminding me of the huge Anniversary we are celebrating today in my extended family as we all 13 came into The Church 50 years ago on Christmas morning as midnight mass we all received our First Communion!  365 days for 50 years - each one of those 18,250 days has been filled with so much blessings and graces!

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The amazing story of the 13 becoming Catholic!

10 year old Augustine had his first experience serving on the altar this morning in Delano at the Mass of the Holy Family in St Maximilian Church.
Happy Anniversary to all my siblings, their families, and my parents watching down upon us from heaven forever, also my sister, Mary and Brother, Lincoln.  My 7 in heaven and my 6 grandchildren there also.  Talk about the Communion of Saints that are sharing with us in our Hallelujah to the Highest Heaven!

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: Our marriage stories - "The world needs LIGHTS!"

Our farm family came and sang us some Christmas carols!  Also joined us at mass this morning and now Lanoue Christmas with Paul's parents.  How we are blessed with many family gatherings to celebrate this glorious important time of year together!
Thomas looking and a small smile with his wonderful family on his First Christmas!
John and Bobbi give me my gift - a photo present.
Ruth and Paul out with the family to see the lights - Thomas was in a stroller.

Fr Denny's homily today - "not what I want, but what the Lord wants."
The pitchfork tradition for year #5!  LOVE!
Jude has his own hand hoe like dad's!

Too great!!!

Grandpa and the kids play the piano...
Checking grandpa's heart - filled with love for each of our 22 grandkids!
Blood pressure - when they pump it - the dial spins.  Too much fun!
Father Denny talked about how we are helped to embrace the Holy Family in our homes by prayer each day and asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to us the plan.

Lord, we are looking to you as we stumble down the narrow path seeking heaven forever with you and those that have gone ahead of us.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and family.  There is nothing more wonderful than sharing our Faith as a family and our openness to LIFE and raising LIGHTS!

So heart warming from Brother Victor today - the little lamb and baby Jesus.
