So beautiful is Jesus - "Round the Tabernacle, which is our abiding Bethlehem"... Angels, Saints and families adore the Babe

Little week-old Regina attended a family Christmas last night and was so peaceful perched on her old grandma.  She met many in Pat's family, and all were amazed at how "tiny and perfect" she is.
Big brother Augustine is gentle with his new sister, Regina Maria.
Nancy's family fit in well.  "We should get together more often."
Cory will be a dad in a few weeks and looks like a natural.
Her wish to hold the tiny newborn happened for Anna.  So special just 2 days from Christmas to have a tiny new life to witness the beauty and wonder of the coming of The Child - the Babe in the manger.

Nancy took her in this morning to be weighed and she is an ounce above her birth weight, so she is doing wonderfully!

We are staying with Nancy and Bill in Delano to share Christmas as a family including mass this evening and opening presents in the morning.  I recalled that I am to pray for Fr Denny today with 7 Sisters, and went to Perpetual Adoration here in town.   I walked in to so much beauty it took my breath away!

"My Jesus, I love you and adore you!"

Beautiful Nativity to the right of the altar.

These words today speak of the Presence of our Lord!

Behold, when the fullness of time had come,
God sent his Son into the world. – Gal 4:4

"The Bethlehem of that night …
has never passed away.

…It lives a real, unbroken, unsuspended life,
not in history only, or in art,
or in poetry, or even in the energetic fertile
worship and fleshly hearts of the faithful, but in the
worshipful reality of the Blessed Sacrament.

Round the Tabernacle,
which is our abiding Bethlehem,
goes on the same world of beautiful devotion
which surrounded the new-born Babe, real,
out of real hearts,
and realized by God’s acceptance."

An elderly man pondering Jesus on the cross with St Maximilian Kolbe and The Immacutlate heart of Mary.... It was special to share my time with Jesus
Jesus is here!
A young family came in to wish baby Jesus a "happy birthday"
The sun glowed through the stain glass window to add to the beauty and LIGHT of Christ!
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
O Radiant Dawn,
splendor of eternal light, sun of justice:
come and shine on those who dwell in darkness and in the shadow of death.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

The Gospel today is the Canticle of Zechariah from Luke 1

In the tender compassion of our God
the dawn from on high shall break upon us,
to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death,
and to guide our feet into the way of peace.”  Luke 1:67-79

A piece of heaven on this Christmas Eve.  Peaceful and glorious to behold!
"Jesus, I trust in you.  I am unworthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed."  Hallelujah and Bless-bless, Barbara
