Another smile for grandma as she is cuddled in her grandpa Pat's big arms.
That bright happy engaged look when she has someone smiling at her, talking baby talk to her and giving her attention!
Sleeping in grandpa's arms.
With Tom checking her out.
Tom is 16 months and Lucy is 2 1/2 months. He will be the group of 3 babies that will grow up with Lucy and play with her when the cousins grow up together and share our family times.
Gina and Maggie are the other two babies that are our youngest grandchildren. Our 4 babies together a few weeks ago for Mary's Confirmation! LOVE this pictures of LIFE!!!
Oh, those blue eyes!
Sad but unfortunately true. How did it ever come to this? That human life is less valued than even animals?!?Until Lucy she was alone as a blue eyed granddaughter. Now we have 2!
So beautiful inside and out! Always love your Church, Mary and look to your namesake, Mary the Mother of God always with you and taking all your needs to Jesus!
Today is a Feast day for Mary as it is the Annunciation to Mary that she would give human LIFE to God in her womb! My prayer for our Mary is that she also will say "Yes." to the Lord's plan for her life! No doubt it will be wonderful and so special!
Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word." Luke 1
May it be done to me according to your word." Luke 1
"The Wisdom of God creates poets. How evidently this is so can be seen by considering Mary of Nazareth. When she had given to the Lord of Hosts the Flesh that would become our Bread, Wisdom caused her to break into a poem of praise, a song repeated by more people than probably any other ever composed.
The Presence within stirred her to exult and proclaim the One 'who has filled the hungry with good things'. And the praise owed to the Presence of embodied Wisdom among us has never ceased in the Church from that day until this."
James T. O'Connor
The Hidden Manna

“When the Divine Child was conceived, Mary’s humanity gave Him hands and feet, eyes and ears, and a body with which to suffer. Just as the petals of a rose after a dew close on the dew as if to absorb its energies, so too Mary as the Mystical Rose closed upon Him Whom the Old Testament had described as a dew descending upon the earth. When finally she did give Him birth, it was as if a great ciborium had opened, and she was holding in her fingers the Guest Who was also the Host of the world, as if to say, ‘Look, this is the Lamb of God; look, this is He Who takes away the sins of the world.’”

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ!

Calf #60 here safe and healthy! He was standing up just minutes after birth which is so amazing!
Tom smiles and runs to his old grandma! I pick him up some days at The Parsonage after mass and water fitness.
Tractor on grandma's lap or else Tom will sit there with his blankets and snuggle as we watch the cows ready to calve on Cow TV.Oh my! I am so humbled by the love this little boy has for his old grandma! He is total gift to our farm family!
Tom and the bottle twin in the shop. So sweet!
Not sure when he is in the pen with him...
Now with grandpa
Getting more comfortable takes time and patience.
Giving the baby kittens kisses after he takes them out of their basket by a leg or around the neck. It seems that babies are made of rubber. He loves them soooo much!!!
"I am such a lucky boy to have my own basket of kittens!"
A open eye look from the only calico kitten - female named Cally.
2 of the 3 white kittens... Snowballs.
Snow piles and snowballs.
Spring is officially here, and we are longing to see greening pastures with no snow!
Grandpa is at the end of the driveway moving the mountain of snow.
Nothern lights have been in the area the last 2 nights! Here is a picture taken at Mackinaw Straits in Michigan.
The rosary is repeating The Gospel words over and over again in prayer. I am excited as hubby and I are traveling in our chapel on wheels to attend a fund raiser for our Delano family's Catholic School - St Maximilian Kolbe. Pat and I will listen to The Catechism in a year as we travel and I will have my Rosary beads in my fingers and prayers for my family in my heart!
So amazing to have this high Feast Day in the midst of Lent! As Fr Shawn - go ahead and eat meat!
Aglow in the presence of God!
LOVE them both!
The Chapel of Lumen Christi/LIGHT of Christ in KCK. The AnnunciationPraying for Fr Denny with 7 Sisters yesterday - I do the stations for the 4th Sorrowful Mystery - Carrying the Cross. I smile inside as dad and I would do this as we shared The Rosary on my porch each Tuesday and Friday on the 4th Sorrowful. I know that dad is traveling with me around the church in prayer! As I reached the 12th Station of Jesus dying on the Cross - around the corner were two windows side by side - Simon and Thomas - Ruth and Paul's oldest and youngest - Simon is 18 and is Thomas' Godfather! A special bond of Faith and prayer for their lifetime!
In the splendor of the late afternoon sun! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barbara and the 34
A facebook picture of my brother, Philip, and a plate of food from his Phil's Grill restaurant that has since closed. My brother in now a butcher at a local farm near Taylors Falls, MN. He is the oldest of the brothers in my family - I am the oldest of 12, and we now number 140+. Many prayers! I am forever grateful for my parents bringing us into The Catholic Church 51 years ago! Each day since has been the greatest gift - the pearl of great price!
Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The amazing story of the 13 becoming Catholic!
