The well - Sacrament of Reconciliation- He doesn't want us to be hurt but unconditionally forgiven/"This is truly the Savior of the world" - +JMJ+

The time is flying by our sweet baby girl was 2 months old yesterday!  She is so healthy and good.  She loves to grow on her mother's milk and John reports that she is up to 13 pounds already.  It looks good on you sweet girl!
Birdie meeting the new baby kittens this morning - only 2 days old and safe and warm in a clothes basket in the house.
Sitting together as a family - all 16 of us taking up two rows.  Birdie went back to sit with her cousins...

Grandpa traded Birdie for Tom, who watched his big brother, Simon, lead us in music - it was so good!

Ruth holding her newest niece, Lucy.  We love to share our Faith and family!  Pat has been proclaiming with great JOY how we are ALL sharing The Eucharist on Sunday - Hallel in Kansas City, Kansas in Lumen Christi/Light of Christ Monastery with our Community of the Lamb, Maria and family in Charlottesville, VA at Holy Comforter Catholic Church, and Nancy and family in Delano, MN at St Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.  Truly united in The Eucharist!

Sunday, March 12, 2023 - 8 a.m. Mass at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church - YouTube   The 8a mass today - Fr Denny's homily using the Gospel - The Samaritan woman at the well - John 4

Fr Denny - A great drama of sin and forgiveness.  She felt something different this time when Jesus could see that she was a great sinner - Jesus forgave her and she went into the village exuberant with JOY!  God's forgiveness is infinitely greater than our guilt.  How are our sins keeping us away from the well of peace?  Afraid of the confessional?  Jesus does not want us to be hurting - no matter what we have done wrong.  It is possible to have a happy life - give it to the Lord - our guilt it dissolves away.  We need to give our burdens to the Lord.  Jesus, carried them for us to the Cross.  He proved his love for us that while he were still sinners - he died for us.

Joy giving sweet kisses to her baby cousin, Lucy.

Fr Denny had 3 ways to approach Jesus...

1. Remind our selves that God loves me with an unconditional love - for who I am not for what I do.  He loved the woman at the well - "Lord, you love me, because I am your daughter."

2.  God please forgive me.  He is a merciful God.  We need to forgive ourselves.  The woman at the well - how many people were hurt by her immoral lifestyle, how many children were hurt, how many children would grow up to be promiscuous following her example.  He still loved her!

3 My morning offering - I do with you and I do for you today.  The Samaritan woman returned full of JOY not shamefaced.  The feeling of the presence of God.   Today we hear the good news from Jesus too.  Take time to have Reconciliation this Lent - that loving acceptance of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!

A sweet smile for her loving family.

The amazing Preface to the Eucharistic Prayer today...

It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, Holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord.  For when he asked the Samaritan woman for water to drink, he had already created the gift of Faith within her and so ardently did her thirst for her faith, that he kindled in her the fire of divine love.  And so we, too, give you thanks and with the Angels praise your mighty deeds, as we acclaim:  Holy, Holy, Holy...

Danielle Rose - See you in the Eucharist
She wrote this when she went into the Convent for some years.  As truly we are together with the Angels, Saints, and loved ones celebrating Jesus - Word, Body and Blood!

Sweetness - such a blessing to have baby cousins!  Joy is #6 of Ruth and Paul on the farm, and she is so lucky and happy to have a baby brother, Tom!  Open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS is the family motto we live by!

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: Our marriage stories - "The world needs LIGHTS!"

Birdie had no idea that there were new baby kittens - I think she likes them!  They are just 2 days old, and lucky to be in where it is warm.
The Calico is Cally #3 and the 3 white ones are Snowball #1, #2, #3!  At least until they get a personality to set them apart one from the other.
New Lucy and new kittens and Birdie and Joy in the middle.
23rd Grandchild - Lucy Marie is a gift!
Our Sunday feast after sharing in the Feast of Heaven and Earth at the Banquet of LIFE!  Every time Tom comes over to be with grandma he gets to sit up to the table and have an ice cream sandwich.  Today was Neapolitan.
Tom loves to be around grandma - we have gotten so close with all the time he spends with me while mom and dad are busy with their projects of home remodel and now The Apartments.
Tom giving grandma lots of attention and fills me with great happiness!  He is such a gift!!!
Yes, he is making the sound of a tractor - "Brumm"
Sweet kisses for Lucy!
More and more alert and content to be kissed on her head.
Grandma couldn't stop!
Just Lucy at 2 months.

Jesus, we are overwhelmed by your unconditional LOVE and forgiveness.  May we come to you in the confessional and leave all our burdens at your feet.  Hearing the words of Absolution and going forth lifted up from our hurt and guilt.  We know without a doubt that "this is truly the Savior of the world." and you love us!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 34

Third Sunday of Lent

The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water,
that I may never be thirsty or have to
keep coming here to draw water."  - John 4:15

"Although Jesus asked this woman for a drink,
His real thirst was for her faith."
St Augustine

"Hence the loftier were the words of the Son of God,
the more tasteless they were to the impure,
as happened when He preached the sovereign and loving doctrine
of the Holy Eucharist; for many turned away (Jn 6:60-61, 67).

Those who do not relish this language
God speaks within them must not think
on this account that others do not taste it.
St Peter tasted it in his soul when he said to Christ:
Lord, where shall we go;
You have the words of eternal life (Jn 6:68).
And the Samaritan woman forgot the water pot
because of the sweetness of God's words (Jn 4:28)."

St Photina (Woman at the Well - Feast Day: March 20), pray for us!

Prayer After Communion (Today’s Liturgy)
 As we receive the pledge
of things yet hidden in heaven
and are nourished while still on earth
with the Bread that comes from on high,
we humbly entreat you, O Lord,
that what is being brought about in us in mystery
may come to true completion.
Through Christ our Lord.
