Foggy VCC morning/Advent program in Delano with Gina/Belgian Tom/"My heart exults in the LORD..."/Little Dave is 14 - +JMJ+

Pat with Regina Maria/Queen Mary after the older 5 siblings were in the Advent Program at St Maximilian in Delano.  Hubby and I went up there to share in the beauty and wonder of it all in the stunning glorious church!
Gina was so adorable and charmed all those around us by dancing and clapping to the music and singing.  Her oldest brother, Agustine, had some dancing in the ailes.  He is in 6th grade.
Gus with Our Lady over his shoulder.
Grandpa with George and Gina after George had done some singing with the Preschoolers.  He will be in Kindergarten next year.

George in the middle row...
Little Drummer boy with the littlest of all the kids in school.  Such a beautiful place for the concert.  It feels as if you have stepped into a piece of heaven!  Truly lifts you up!
Bernadette is in 5th grade and had a sweet solo.

Dominic top row and Josephine down 2 rows.
Just one year apart so both on stage together quite a bit.
Stunning beauty to lift us up to highest heights!

Josephine in 2nd and Dominic in 3rd.  It will be JoJo's First Communion this year with Evie in Fort Leavenworth too.  Jo is a sheep adoring Baby Jesus with cows and donkeys too.
Gina loved to watch all of it, but danced along with big brother, Gus!
Waiting for mom and dad to get the others from their classrooms, so that we could go out to DQ as has been our tradition since our kids were in Christmas Concerts 30 years ago and more.
Happy sweet 2 year old Gina - her birthday was a week ago at CCC!
There is so much beauty all around us!  I feel like I have just stepped into Heaven!
Tom came over while they were wrapping up the last day on the Apartments!  A Belgian cookie smile!
With Farmer Grandpa Pat...

Grandma got carried away.  It will be less time for Tom to be here now, but I am sure that he will still love to come to grandma's house.
Overdone!  I need to get moving as we gather  at Lake Shetek Bible Camp around noon today for our Verly Christmas Camp!  My head is spinning and my prayers are for health and happiness to abound!
Reindeer shirt?
We are waiting for Tom to start talking, but he still shows us what he wants.
He likes to play like he is a dinosaur these days.  At least he bites my shirt and not me!
Oldest grandson in the military family - Little Dave is 14 as of yesterday.  On the shortest darkest day of the year - David is a bright shining LIGHT!  We love you Dave!

The O Antiphon for David's birthday
Walking out of mass and seeing the Christmas Tree in the Parsonage... a shining testament of all Ruth and Paul have done to make it loved and beautiful!
Hallel asked for pies for Christmas as we have fake plans to go there for Christmas Day with our 2 Kansas daughters and families!  I tried to show Tom how his Uncle John would play in the flour and make roads with his cars.  Tom did not like the idea at all...
My truck is dirty and stuck!
Not reliving an old memory.  Each one is different for sure.
Cleaning up his dirty truck with a smile.
Nothing better than being asked to do mom things for your nun after she has lived in Europe a number of years over since she entered in 2008.  LOVE to have her close by, and to be able to share Christmas Day with her.

Presents for 34!
Pat making his cranberry relish in the robe the girls sewed for him probably 25 years ago or more.
Orange and cranberries some with sugar and some with artificial sugar.  My Little Oscar had ground up mostly zucchini for zucchini bread over many years - now a lot of cranberries and oranges!
Some for camp and some for KCK!
Today's  - today is my brother Phil's 67th birthday!  LOVE you Phil!  Wish I could pop in a give you a hug at Phil's Grill like old times...
Clarifying what the Pope did when he blessed Same sex... Taken so wrong!
Praying with hubby morning prayer this morning as we are soon to gather with our family of 33 - only missing Hallel whose picture is going in my purse!  The Psalm today from Samuel rings out the JOY we hope and pray will be with us this weekend.

R. (see 1a) My heart exults in the Lord, my Savior.
"My heart exults in the LORD,
my horn is exalted in my God.  Samuel 2

The first reading is about Samuel being dedicated to the Lord.  He was an answer to prayer and yet she still gave him to the Lord.  We have done that with our nun, Hallel, too.  Yet we are blessed mightily by her example of giving it all to her Spouse, Jesus Christ!  Bless our time, Lord and Lady.  I am packing up my Advent wreath to be a focal point of our time - Jesus is the Reason for the Season!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb and the 33 plus many Little Brothers and little Sisters
LOVE this!  Blessed Christmas to all
It's finished - it took a year and a day! From a friend today...
Your vision, hard work, and dedication is impressive! Both buildings are awesome!
God blessed you with great talent and you have used it well!
Merry Christmas to the Verly and Lanoue families!
The day they took it over - the front door would stand open no matter the temps!  They certainly made it all it could be!  I still get so excited to look out the windows of both The Parsonage and The Apartments and see our beloved Holy Redeemer now smiling!
