Tom goes out for a bit/"Stewards of Creation"/St Agnes/Praying with John before speaking - pressing upon him to touch him. +JMJ+

Tom's request to "go out" seemed kind of nuts with the wind howling at -18 below.  Dad sent him with mittens and hat and grandma found a scarf plus his new spider man boots - he lasted about 20 minutes of running around with Mater!
Rosey cheeks for sure!
Tom and Mater coming back in to warm up.  But he sure got some fresh air!
A happy smile in the middle of all the warm clothes.
After all rosey cheeked.
Before all excited to go out, but not pull the scarf up over his mouth and nose.
Neumann was soft and warm and that felt good!
"He likes me!" and to have his belly rubbed too!
A perfect way to warm up after some very fresh wind and cold air.
Little brother David in KCK on his 29th birthday last week.  He is blind and has given his life to Jesus and Mary!  HE shares his gift of music by playing on the harp and guitar plus his beautiful voice.
A few years ago as he celebrated his birthday in France - he had his dinner in the middle of the night in pitch blackness so that the other little brothers could experience how his life is. He remains joyful and filled with great trust and happiness to follow Our Lord and Lady.
He shared that when he took the name David from his former name of Jed - "I want to join King David and dance with abandon in front of the tabernacle holding the Holy of holies - Mary the Mother of God!"

It is so special to see him playing the harp as his King David did!

St Agnes was a couple days ago on the 21st.  It is a very big Feast in the Church and is Hallel's patron Saint she chose for her confirmation while visiting her sisters in Rome.  St Agnes was put into a house of prostitution to try to break her and soil her.  The only man that tried to touch her was struck blind!  She left there untouched to her death!

So important to ask for her help to face all the evil that surrounds us and most especially young people.  St Agnes, help us!

The Basilica of St Mary in Minneapolis where Pat and I were married 46 1/2 years ago!
Pat's giant size 15 feet in front of the fire on a cold night as we join in prayer.
Pat has begun Exodus 90 and it is a blessing to us as we share The Rosary together in front of his woodstove.
Always need 2, but 3 is even better!
Always with the Lamb - which also makes her special with our Community of the Lamb!  Jesus is the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.  The motto Hallel's Community lives by - "Wounded, I will never cease to love." The Lamb shows us how!

I am still glowing with great JOY that our farmwife, Ruth, and her family of 9 got to have some time in KCK with our nun and her family of the Lamb!  It has been 7 years since they were able get down there!
Prayer and dishes is how Hallel describes her life.  They embrace a vow of poverty including having no hot running water.  They have to heat water for dishes and bathing and cleaning. They also sleep on a board.

I love to see our college granddaughter, Mary, wearing a blue apron as she did as a little girl. Hallel joined and went to France 16 years ago when Mary was 2 years old!  It is so miraculous that Ruth and Paul got all of their kids including the 2 in college to make the trip and even get snowed in an extra day!
In the cupola in the chapel roof of Lumen Christi/LIGHT of Christ Monastery!  The Lamb shows us how to love without counting the cost -  "Wounded I will never cease to love."
How I pray that I can live this out in my marriage, family and Life!
The Collect at the beginning of Mass yesterday on the Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children was so deep and powerful and the words - Stewards of Creation really spoke to me!  In 1973 - over 50 years ago it became legal to have an abortion!  How did that ever come to be?
Impossible for me to understand!  So crazy and mixed up to kill babies with no consequence whatsoever!  Except for your eternal soul!
Yes!!!!!!!!
With my brother, Jim Cross, at the walk for LIFE a few years back!
Surrounding John 15 years ago when he developed brain cancer after praying for Faith.
John's spirit juice video now continues with wife and 3 children - miracles indeed!

Last night John called me from Benson where he was going to speak about his miraculous healing. "Mom, what should I be sure to include in my talk?"  "Our Lady brought you to her Son and his Church at Lourdes."

Yes, as the Collect reminds us - "God our creator, who alone have the power to impart the breath of life as you form each of us in our mother's womb..."

Praying for John while he was speaking last night - the Saint Barbara statue John gifted to me, his paver tile with all the children here and in heaven on it, and praying the 5th decade of the Glorious Mysteries, which is John's decade - Mary is crowned Queen of heaven and earth!
My parents looking on from heaven!  How I continue to pray for John that he does not struggle with dementia!  "Protect John's brain, Our Lady and Lord!"
the LIGHT of Mary the Mother of God!
So sad but so TRUE!  St Mother Teresa of Calcutta pray for us.  I am sure that you and St JPII are fighting for LIFE from heaven!
Yes!!!
May my marriage be closer to their's! Hear my prayer, O Lord and Lady.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb and the 33 here and 13 in heaven!
May others come to see the Truth of LIFE as a gift to be cherished and protected O Lord and Lady!
Our Pro life Saint - St Gianna pray for us!
The 2 Johns, who have experienced miracles and long to share it far and wide - Jesus Heals!

Today in the Gospel Jesus is pressed upon by so many to be healed!

Gospel Mark 3:7-12

Jesus withdrew toward the sea with his disciples.
A large number of people followed from Galilee and from Judea.
Hearing what he was doing,
a large number of people came to him also from Jerusalem,
from Idumea, from beyond the Jordan,
and from the neighborhood of Tyre and Sidon.
He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd,
so that they would not crush him.
He had cured many and, as a result, those who had diseases
were pressing upon him to touch him.
And whenever unclean spirits saw him they would fall down before him
and shout, “You are the Son of God.”  Mark 3

John Drown and John Verly - longing to share how Jesus continues to heal.  Pressing upon Him to share the Love they have been given by Our Lord Jesus.  "Use me Lord to your honor and glory."  Amen and Hallelujah
