Lucy's first time shopping for all that is sweet/Grateful for what the Lord has done in our lives, family, Church/John prayers at 12mn - +JMJ+

Praying with John in the middle of the night.  We visit and pray together and know that we are blessed that the Lord made a way for us to share prayer.  John has the last hour of Sunday and I have the first hour of Monday.

Another part of this story that makes me smile and rejoice - my father, Deacon Robert Cross, always prayed for his entire family first and middle name on Mondays.  I am now doing that for both Pat's family and ours equaling 250+ by first name only in my hour before the Lord!  I put them in the monstrance with Jesus!

John prostrating before the Lord in humble LOVE and thanksgiving!

We talked about his Talk last week in Bensen with a group.  Sharing his story of healing from his brain cancer 15 years ago.  Now he has been blessed with a wonderful wife and 3 children!

John's Spirit Juice video

This depicts the paralytic being lowered before Jesus by his friends!  Such a powerful Gospel that truly reminds us of John and the hundreds of prayer warriors that prayed for his healing!

Yes, Lord!
John has ataxia on his left side as a result of his brain biopsy to discover that he had Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma.  To see him struggle from time to time to balance and move is a bit heart breaking to me as his mom.  But he continues to give our Lord and Lady all the praise for his healing and life since brain cancer!  He is truly the New John - a man who found the Faith her asked for in the battle of his life.

Last night he shared that he is constantly thanking his guardian Angel for protecting him and helping him when he is close to falling or tripping or stumbling.  "I thank my guardian Angel all the time!"

Nancy's 6 ready for Catholic Schools week at Delano - the attend St Maximilian Kolbe Church and School!
Maria's youngest 3 year old Magdalene wanted to wear her Santa Grandpa shirt.  Maria runs a Catholic Homeschool for her 7 children in Fort Riley, KS.
Rose welcoming all to the 8a Catholic Schools Mass
2 year old Lucy got to go shopping for the first time for brunch on the farm after mass yesterday.  Tom and Lucy shared the seat and grapes.
Rose modeled her speech clothes.  She is the grade at Holy Redeemer and will be in story telling this year.  She modeled 3 jackets she inherited from her big sister, Mary.  Looking sharp!  We love speech for all that it does to allow the young people to express and present themselves.  It very close to the heart of her Uncle John, and is a way that he can give back.
Tom showing Lucy the ropes of going shopping for all things sweet and wonderful for our celebratory family brunch after sharing Mass and receiving Jesus - Word, Body and Blood!  Our JOY knows no bounds!
A grape - a BIG grape!
5 grandkids filled our van!  Joy is the big and helpful one in putting seatbelts on and off and we truly appreciate her help!
David serving and Luke and Rose singing in the choir!
A special sharing from some local friends, who visited The Community of the Lamb in KCK where our nun, little sister Hallel lives.  Their daughter has moved there to be an RN in a burn unit about 20 minutes from Lumen Christi/LIGHT of Christ.  So happy to have others meet and share in their wonderful beautiful life of prayer and dishes.
Now that the weather is getting nicer... my cat goes out for the day and some of the time sits in the tree to get away from the neighbor cats.  He did come down about dark...
Cute and cold...

A few with grandpa Santa a couple weeks ago - daughter, Maria Theresa
5 year old Hector Joseph.
Fr Denny with our new mass schedule - at the College now Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon.
Mondays at the Nursing Home here in town.  My friend Marie has been in the nursing home now for 3 months and we are going to Mass together.
It was special to see Fr Denny wearing his TEC stole during Advent.
Today in his homily Fr Denny reminded us to be grateful in prayer for all the that Lord has done in our lives, our families, and our Church.  He was referring to the Psalm from mass today...

Responsorial Psalm Psalm 98:1, 2-3ab, 3cd-4, 5-6

R. (1a)  Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous deeds.
Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done wondrous deeds;
His right hand has won victory for him,
his holy arm.
R. Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous deeds.
The LORD has made his salvation known:
in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice.
He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness
toward the house of Israel.
R. Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous deeds.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation by our God.
Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands;
break into song; sing praise.
R. Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous deeds.
Sing praise to the LORD with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
sing joyfully before the King, the LORD.
R. Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous deeds.

I have so very much to thank the Lord for!  John' healing!  My wonderful and Holy Spirit led Father and Husband!  Our nun!
