John is very happy that his sisters are open to life and have neices and nephews that he can grow to love. He has a special attachment to Augustine as this is the name of his patron saint. He is lives the closest to him when he is working and living at his Fraternity on the ST Paul campus of the U of M. So when he wants some family time... he invites himself over for dinner and an occassional overnight here and there, and it looks like he gets some time with little Gus too. It appears that 6 week old Gus thinks that Uncle John is a nice comfy place to stretch out and relax after filling up on milk from mom. From what Nancy says... he likes to nurse for half an hour every hour and a half around the clock. No wonder he is growing before our very eyes! "I like nursing, but it is a bit like I am his pacifier." reports Nancy. It seems like you are tied down now, but it will all change so quickly as he grows and changes so much in these first 6 months. Enjoy each and every minute of your precious little one! Jesus, we trust in you!
The Pat and Barb Verly family and their 5 children, in laws and grandkids along with many prayer warriors have been drawn together by John's cancer... sharing daily for 8 months started this blog- Family Soul Story - Our faith, family, farm and now our cancer journey called HEALING have colored and deepened our world. WE continue to share and depend on the support of our prayer warrior community, that has lowered us into the Lord's presence for His healing!
