My heart overflowed to see all 5 of my children with their spouses experiencing Saint Pierre, after I had been here twice before! During John's brain cancer battle on the Queenship of Mary in 2009, and 2 years later with Pat, John and Pat's mother, Anna, for her first vows! It is powerful to know that last week Hallel returned to Saint Pierre with Little Sister Joyce, who is taking her first vows probably also on the feast of The Queenship of Mary in a few days.
“We have given up everything and followed you.
What will there be for us?”
Jesus said to them, “Amen, I say to you
that you who have followed me, in the new age...
or father or mother or children or lands
for the sake of my name will receive a hundred times more,
and will inherit eternal life.
But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.”
Dad, Pat and I had a powerful experience over these last few weeks and most especially last night at 6p! We have been praying for a baby in danger of being aborted, and many phone calls/conversations with many and prayers were building up to her coming in with a friend to the Birthright office last evening. Dad and I prayed the office with dad asking for a word from the Lord as we prayed!
Our word from the office last night...God has given us the wisdom *
to understand fully the mystery, the plan he was pleased *
to decree in Christ.
A plan to be carried out *
in Christ, in the fullness of time,
to bring all things into one in him, *
in the heavens and on earth. The 3rd Psalm from Ephesians 1:3-10 yes, the plan is for a life to be saved with our prayers and trusting in Jesus/the Holy Spirit to give us the words. How we rejoice and give our all to Him - trusting that He is in control of every life.
The desserts for our feast in France!
Mary and Therese will be together in a week to share their LIGHT one with the other. Such wonderful girls, and so blessed and touched by sharing our Faith as Family on the Farm!!!
Dad out to watch the cows and calves peacefully grazing the grass in front of the red barn in our yard. My father has lived with me for over 4 months now - mostly quite stable with most all the issues that come up dealt with by hospice!
I have been asked lately what my feelings are about the pandemic virus... as there are those close to me that have such fear of it that they are totally paralyzed. For me it has been a very positive life-changing happening in how it opened the door for my father to come 3 hours into the country to live with me on the farm. To pray without ceasing and "do the work" of daily prayer and prayer and prayer! Dad and I are brought to our knees in our inner temple by this world situation! We have added so many in need to our chaplet each day from the President to many in the family and those recently deceased as well as facing illness or misled!
As I sit in mass surrounded by my family, which is my greatest JOY, I ponder why I am having to wear a mask. It all seems to be overboard, as others than my family are very far away from me, and I from them! I see the liberal minded in this world are using this pandemic in an attempt to destroy our country, president, and our ability to worship in church. An excuse to hide away and live in darkness and allow the wounds of hate and division to fester. And how did that hate get directed towards the innocent unborn in the womb? That is the most horrible gut wrenching evil that I can in no way understand!!! For what? To have Biden and Harris in there destroying all the strides we have taken towards Truth and morality and respect for LIFE!
Farmlife is never a dull moment, but times like this it is like a peaceful picture of LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT as we embrace our Faith/Family/Farm!
May we go forward in this new day - bringing LIGHT into our world!
Jesus with your Mother Mary, Queen of heaven and earth at your side, we are so touched by the Truth you reveal to us if only we come into The LIGHT you provide for us. We stand firm in the Truth, and lift up our lives to you in total surrender and prayer. May we leave all the burdens and distractions behind and die to self so that you may live in us. May we be willing and able hands and feet and hands for you. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
