22 grandkids in Nancy's pool on a 100 degree day!/22nd Sunday- Labor Day weekend/7th Anniversary of St Mother Teresa - +JMJ+

The group of first and second grade girls together - 7 year old Josephine and 6 year old Joy and Evie!

In just a few days Nancy pulled together a pool party on Sunday with the family! They had recently put in a new in ground pool! Even Maria drove up from Kansas - 7 hours to spend such a wonderful day cool in the pool in such a hot sunny day!
Birdie Barbara in red with her mom's pretty flowers before we all loaded up and drove 2 1/2 hours to Delano together!
John in the wonderful pool with his 3 - 4 year old Jude, 3 year old Birdie, and 7 month old Lucy.  They all loved the pool and Lucy smiled and splashed until nap time.  Jude and Birdie played and played all day!
Jude and Birdie!
Loved to see my kids enjoying each other and catching up.  Tom was smiling all day in and out of the pool!
Trying to get the 3 four year old boys together was not really happening except on the move!
I am starting to realize that Birdie is part of the group of 3 boys including her brother! Birdie and George are best buddies and swam together a lot.  Since I was in the pool so much all day - I couldn't get the wonderful pictures I saw with my eyes alone. Water and phone/cameras just don't mix!

Best buddies Birdie and George.  The water was so warm and wonderful, and really made the heat of the day nice to dry off in.  Perfect day.  All of our grandchildren together - only missing Mary, who went to Renaissance Festival.  I think we had a better place to be in such record breaking heat!  We did miss her!
Nancy snapped me as I was trying to get some pictures with my camera in the pool...  Yes, I did get some sunburn.
I could not resist getting my 3 littles together!  Oh my!  There is one younger - Lucy, but these 3 are all within 6 months of each other!
Grandpa grabbing the 2 that are just a month apart - Tom and Regina!
Almost there!
A good one!
I will call it GREAT!!

Mom, Maria, sharing her curls with 2 year old Magdalene!
Grandpa Farmer Pat taking some great fun family time with his boatload of LOVE = grandkids!  He played with the big kids too - doing cannonballs and throwing them over his shoulder!  The little ones adore him and he them!

Little farm boy, Tom, bringing grandpa his hat so that they can go and work.
Tom's shoes...
Grandpa's big work boots.  His big brother, Simon, used to bring grandpa his boots to get busy with - that was 18 years ago!  Simon is now going to Southeast TEC in Sioux Falls.
Half as big as Tom!
Father giving those that work in the schools and the students a blessing after mass yesterday.  John works an after school program plus cares for his kids while Bobbi works.
The Lanoue bunch getting their blessing including Simon now in Vo Tech.  I just said to Pat this morning that when they all go to school tomorrow morning - "It will be Tom and grandma."  Prayers
Demonstrating the new sidewalk in front of the Apartments.  So much has to be done this week!  Grandma duty will be huge I think.
Sister Paula and hubby Bill yesterday on their 40th Anniversary!  Happy Anniversary!  So much LOVE!
Brother, Dan, and wife, Angela celebrating 41 years yesterday!  Such a testament of LOVE
Sister, Martha/Marty, and hubby, Steve celebrated 50 years this summer with a huge family gathering in Michigan on the Lake!  They have 22 grandkids too!  Such a huge witness to Faith and Family!  In between these two sisters - Pat and I celebrated 45 years at the beginning of August!  Faith/Family/Farm - Open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS is our motto we live by!

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: Our marriage stories - "The world needs LIGHTS!"

Joy in midflight - there were many contests from youngest to oldest, biggest splash, races, and silly falling into the pool acts.
Most all in the pool having fun times together!
The girls after a race
Grandpa with the 3 littles and a big boy splash!  Little Gina just doggy paddles all around the pool with her puddle jumpers on.
Paula and Bill in our favorite place upper Michigan!  The best Anniversary picture we could ever hope for!
Sunkissed and celebrating 40 years!
7 years ago we were in the Bandzuch home in Shawnee, KS on this 22nd Sunday of Ordinary time 2016, and Labor Day Weekend.  It was the day of the Canonization of St Mother Teresa of Calcutta!  This year we were once again in their home now in Delano, MN!  We have added 11 in the last 7 years - John has added 4 with wife and 3 little ones, Ruth has added 2, Nancy has added 2 and Maria has added 3!  Open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS!  I do regret not getting a group picture, but we were missing Mary and there was so much coming and going with the little ones taking naps at different times and all.  Sigh!

Lord, there are some deep prayers going on right now, and we trust in you.  Lord and Lady we turn to you and trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 33 including many Little Sisters and Little Brothers
This is my deepest wish and hope!

Maria missed a surprise birthday party for our nun, Little Sister Hallel, yesterday.  She is leaving for France on Wednesday, so will be gone on her birthday on September 18th.  The only one left in Kansas to attend was Maria's husband, Major Joseph.  "We are usually the two that are missing and here we are now together for this."  Yes, Joe we missed you and Hallel at our family gathering yesterday - at least you were together!  We love that!!
This is amazing since the words of Jesus to us today in the Gospel from Luke 4 - He stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah.
He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring glad tidings to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.

Rolling up the scroll,
he handed it back to the attendant and sat down,
and the eyes of all in the synagogue looked intently at him.
He said to them,
"Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing."

Yes, Lord and it is being lived out to this very day!  "Recovery of sight to the blind."  Hallelujah!
