Dressed warm, but the sun came out and it really was a nice day and I lost the hat and gloves and unzipped my jacket. Sure is nice to have a less than wintry mid November!
The tall grass and the pasture that I drove along for part of the taking out of the fence. Pat sure had to pull the fence posts out by hand and that took a lot of strength plus walk with lots of mud on his boots. Thankfully it rained and that made the posts easier to pull out. I enjoyed watching my strong guy pulling them out though. Sigh...
After mass Fr Denny came an anointed a friend, who has been battling cancer for a year now. Such a powerful and beautiful service.
The readings at Mass this morning after our early hour of She shall be called woman starting at 6a... the Gospel today reminded us that we will not know when Christ will come again. We just need to be ready! But the Kingdom of God is among us... Luke 17
Jesus said in reply,“The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed,
and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is,’ or, ‘There it is.’
For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you.”
Yes, Jesus is here with us and in us and His Church is for me the Kingdom of God here on earth! We are given so many graces to assist us on this journey down the narrow path with Heaven forever as our goal. I love to dwell in His Kingdom here on earth!
We brought our 180+ cows home across the road yesterday after early out school. They had been on corn stalks across the road for a month, and now they are being fed in the yard for the winter and calving in February- March.
LIFE is a gift to be cherished and protected from conception to natural death!
Ruth is on the far hill and is stopping traffic and I am on this hill. The kids are on both sides and the cows go over the road between them. 7 year old Joy is in the pink jacket next to her big brother, David, who is 16 and across on the other side are Luke and grandpa. Pat was very happy with how they smoothly went across the road in a matter of minutes.
How did things get so messed up that babies in the womb are unloved and unwanted to the point of taking their innocent lives? Let them live and put them in the arms of those that are longing for babies through adoption!

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The story of little Lamb - grandson Patrick
Today in She She - Paradisus Dei the topic was fight like a girl... It was very good and very thought provoking. It reminded me of how I think that I need to drag my Most Cherished Cross rather than carry it as I am weak and lowly.
We have fake plans that are taking shape for Thanksgiving down there in Kansas. Pat and I will use Maria's oven to make a turkey to take to Open Table with The Little brothers. We will bring Therese from our military family as there is a teen retreat at Lumen Christi the day after Thanksgiving and T will go as well as Nancy's Bernadette. So exciting for the girls to have this wonderful exposure to our Community of the Lamb!
I am the oldest of my parents' 11 children, Marty is #2 and 14 months younger than me, and Paula is #3 and is 3 years younger than me. She just turned 70 last week. Happy birthday, Paula!!!
November we pray for our dead... a few years back we went to Sommerset, WI to pray at the grave of my sister, Mary, who died in 1986 from Lymphoma Cancer. I am very much aware of my dead this November - my sister-in-law, Rita Verly since Mother's day, Pat's parents and brother, Don. My parents and sister, Mary and brother, Lincoln. Many prayers that they are with Jesus in heaven!
My family 2 years before Pat and I married... Christmas card for 1976The sweet fuzzy kitten is now escaping and roaming the house. I predict he will be moving out to the shop.
Lord, change me to do your will better.
Tommy was super cute and helpful to grandma cleaning the windows around the house.
Rose is now 12 and Tom is now 10 since November 1st. Such a sweet memory...
Tommy is grandma's sweet little guy. He will be here tomorrow, and he is excited!
11 years ago this sweet girl, Bernadette, was one. She is now 12 as of yesterday. Happy Birthday sweet girl!
Fun to see us still living on the farm - now Ruth's home and totally redone.Bernadette as St Gianna Molle for All Saints Day.
They had some time with The little sisters at Lumen Christi in KCK for MEA break. We are returning for Thanksgiving with The Community. Realizing that we have 2 now just half a day away in Kansas. I am getting excited to have some family time with 3 of our families.
Breakfast with Aunt Hallel in October. I am very happy that Nancy is putting in the effort to spend time with our nun and her amazing Community of the Lamb. Welcome - Community of the Lamb
Nancy's 6 supporting Bernadette as she was Donkey in Shrek - she loves the stage and she stole the show!
This is so cute and funny!
The weather has been so nice that Tom and grandma have been spending time outside.
Tom pushing his Mater through the leaves...
Go out on the gravel Tom. He has his keys for his Mater truck, and he still pushed him through the many leaves.
Jason Gray on stage at a fundraiser for Choices Pregnancy center.
So happy about the election and now many prayers for us to regain morals and Christian values - most especially the respect for ALL LIFE!
Visit Him often.
Visit Him rarely.
Visit Jesus rarely in the Blessed Sacrament.
Visit Jesus often.
Take refuge often at the feet of Jesus.
Forget about visiting Jesus.
