There is a new softness about John!

As he relaxes in all things familiar... John returns to his life as a college student at the U of M!  At all his denying any interest in anything farm over the years... he chose to have Ag as one of his majors along with his God given ability to present himself in front of "large groups of people."  Now with ataxia and a year to fight off brain cancer molding him in new ways... he seems to be changed and different and we know that there will be a "new normal" and a path laid out before him.  He has been thoroughly "chewed up" by the experience of the last year... I have often thought of how chewing softens food and how the grinding of the ups and downs of the last year has "crushed" him and "humbled" him to the point that his eyes have been opened to Life and Death and all that is in between....and is now softer and more compassionate to those that he encouters in life.  He also looks at me with eyes filled with new gratitude and love... we will miss each other after sharing so much, yet also be happy to be free to follow where He leads us!  Jesus we trust in you!  Amen and Halleluia!
