Nancy was able to bring her husband and Gus up for his first time on Santa's lap! Very special for her, and a wonderful answer to many prayers!
John's turn on Grandpa/Santa's lap is brings cheers of delight to see him cancer free and smiling when we all had our fears two years ago! Fr Custodio told him to stay positive and keep it away!
Journey
"We all have a journey through this life.
Some days are wonderful,
Some are full of Strife
But the Journey Continues through this Wonderful Life
This Family Was Started with Robert and Nancy
As they listened to the Lord
and let his Holy Spirit Guide Them
So too They Guided Us.
From 7 to 11 or as Dad always said...
7 come 11
But for one more who has gone before
Lincoln Robert and Mary Susan
Both Blessed in Heaven
Dear Brother and Sister
Have finished their Journey
But ours continues on...
From Michigan to Minnesota
From Protestant to Catholic
Our Family Journey Continues On
With Dad at the Helm
As he prays for each of us
by name everyday
His guidance and Love
Shows us the way.
This Family
Forever growing
Forever Loving
With my sisters getting Married
And giving me the greatest brother in laws
A girl could ever have
And Brother who who Married Wives
Each one beautiful and Talented and ever so Blessed
As I look at each Family within this one,
I see how Dad has taught each of them to be
These 11 small families
adding Nieces and Nephews
Who in turn gave Mom and Dad
Twenty Great Grand Children
With more yet to come
Each one beautiful and Blessed
And Each one special in my own heart.
So for the last Forty Years
Has Shown Me
That is the only place to be
I have been gone
Way to long
But my thoughts and Prayers
have always been
To those here at home.
Minnesota and Wisconsin
Two States so close
that Family is never far away
If You ever feel lost and alone
I Pray
That your feet will always follow...
The Road
That will lead you home. "
Carol Cross Dec 2011
For Gus his first year at CCC was a special one, and one like no other... each is unique and we were blessed to share 2011 with 6 month old Augustine and the other 70 plus members of our wonderful family! We are excited to know that either Rose or Luke will be this age next year for his or her first Christmas at CCC... Ruth and Paul's new arrival in April! So wonderful! Bless-bless, Barb
