Mary got a perfect paper at school and was rewarded with some smarties! I heard her busy in the kitchen after school, and soon she came with a sweet smile and her hand out holding 5 for me. "I divided up my prize to share with you and Simon, and my mom. She then took some out to share with Simon. Soon Simon came in and told Mary to come outside - I want to give you something. He had her climb into the wagon and steer with the handle while he gave her a ride. It was so obvious that he wanted to return the kindness to her, and this job of giving her a ride was his way...
Well, it certainly was a beautiful evening- 75 degrees - and the kids played on the new trampoline for a while, but the biggest hit was pushing each other in the wagon! It became a new favorite event in which they all had a share and a turn... ending up flying over a ramp and landing with a bump - they had put a pillow in the wagon to keep from hurting their bottoms.
Mary got another turn, but didn't want to go over the ramp...
Little Snowman is very smart and was nursing on mom in just a short time - he also thought Mary's pants might hold some possibility.
The 3 together - learning how wonderful it is to be kind to one another and then wanting to return that over and over. It sends out waves of happiness and allows the goodness to sink into your soul. Let us all be kind and good and caring today to all those we come in contact with.
Lord, I am yours - may I give without counting the cost as you did on the Cross for me. Today in the Gospel you told us that if we keep your Word - we will never see death. Your Word guides us each day filled with the Truth! May we follow You carrying our Most Cherished Cross and following after YOU. Jesus, we trust in YOU. Amen and Hallelujah
