"Your crazy catholic isn't that easy to hide!" daughter, Nancy Anna Bandzuch to me

Mary sharing some up close time with her calf at the fair yesterday morning.  It is so special to have this experience over again with Ruth and Paul's kids now.  With Luke less than a year - we have many years of beef, photography, and geology ahead.  Now with Paul - we are experiencing pig showing, and with Simon's interests we have robotics, so many familiar things and some new ones to spice it up, too!
I have helped out with Luke and Rose - so that the others can put in their long days at the fair and the little ones can get their rest and some kind of a normal day.

I have been told that I dwell too much on my losses, and that maybe I had some post partum depression that I never dealt with - how with therapy and meds?  I feel that a prime example of why it comes up for me over and over is because of being called to witness about my openness to family and LIFE!  Nancy shared a post on her blog yesterday that once again called me to witness and share my story...  http://www.dosmallthingswithlove.com/2014/07/on-having-3rd.html  She wrote about how she is bombarded by those that criticize her having 3 babies so close in age... most everywhere she goes with them -people have something to say.

I borrowed this picture taken by Nancy a few days ago... evidently Gus picked out matching car outfits for he and his brother, and got him dressed too!  "Gus and mini-Gus." as great Aunt Barbie wrote.

I know it sounds crazy, but I do encounter, even to this day, those that think they know that I quit having kids because of my finally having my boy after 4 girls!  John was laying in Mayo having chemo and I was telling the nurse that John had 4 older sister - "Oh, you had your boy so you finally quit."  was her immediate response.  Do I answer or not?  Sometimes it is just more than I want to go into and just too much to explain under the circumstances of a check out lane or pumping gas.  But the answer it "No!" and I hoped and prayed so hard that I could have that #6 to show the world that there we are open to all the LIFE the good Lord will give us!

I added this picture to the comment to Nancy's post sharing that I so wanted that #6 to show the world without the words of explanation... Nancy responded with this most amazing compliment in the whole entire world to me..."Your crazy Catholic isn't that easy to hide!"  I love to think that is the Truth... that there is never any question that I LOVE my Catholic Faith - every last part of it!  I have 12 children - 7 in Heaven and 5 here with me and it shows without my having to share it with every last person I come in contact with!  My prayer for those misled by Satan to believe that 2 is the number of children a family should have, and that life should be prevented so that those kids can have stuff rather than the blessing of siblings.  Thank you, Nancy, for letting me know that I am sharing The LIGHT in my life without always having to say the words.
A picture that shows the roots from which I sprang - yes, I am crazy-Catholic and so filled with the wonder and truth and joy and wisdom and peace and small slice of Heaven here on earth and The Most Cherished Cross/Tree of LIFE and LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT that comes from being in love with Jesus and His amazing gloriously beautiful Bride, The Church!

St Liguori of today listened to God's voice - "Leave the world behind and give yourself to me."  May we follow after his example and ask for him to intercede for us to show the world that we follow Jesus and His Bride, The Church, without any reservation.  Yes, I am crazy-Catholic because that is where all LIGHT and Truth lies!  The reading from Matt 6 in morning prayer today..."The lamp of the body is the eye.  If your eye is sound, your whole body will be filled with light; but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be in darkness. And if the light in you is darkness, how great will the darkness be."  Pat and I prayed long and hard this morning for so many that are misled and feel that LIFE is to be regulated and prevented and killed through abortion.  Lord, help this world of darkness!
Ruth and Paul's beautiful family with "Fancy" the pig...
Jesus, please allow me to show the world with the way I live and pray and play and work and give without counting the cost... that I am in love with YOU and Your Bride, The Church!  How I love and thank you that I am "crazy-Catholic!"  My faith fills each part of my day and every corner of my life here with Faith/Family/Farm!  May I never question the "wisdom and mighty deeds" of Jesus in my life, as they did in the Gospel today.  You are alive and well in my LIFE, O Lord, and I will never stop thanking and praising YOU - Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!!!  Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Amen and Once again Hallelujah!
Luke's first county fair, and he likes it!
Bless-bless, Barbara Luke - the crazy-Catholic!!!!
Acquire the habit of speaking to God as if you were alone with Him, familiarly and with confidence and love, as to the dearest and most loving of friends.

St. Alphonsus Liguori, Doctor of the Church, pray for us!
He left the world as a successful to minister to the less fortunate!  I am sure he was questioned as to whether he had lost his mind... no, he had gained Heaven!
