Only missing Simon and Mary... 9 of the 11, who shared a weekend on the farm. Nancy came home so I had a house full and a big family Sunday dinner celebration of my 68 years old today. We first shared mass as a family and then breakfast in the Church basement together.
A big change for my parents yesterday... they moved together to The Cities - The Lodge of New Hope! My siblings pulled together to get their furniture moved in and then they posed for me with Our Lady of Guadalupe!
3 of my 5 kids with 11 of the 18 grandkids made for a wonderful family Sunday dinner on Ruth's beautiful porch in the sunshine! All I want for a gift is sharing meals with my family!
Grandson, David, lighting the candles before mass - we shared mass together... the most glorious gift for which I am most grateful is sharing our Faith as a family!
George is such a wonderful boy! He had the taste of his first caramel roll in the church basement to gum. "What is this wonderful taste, and where has it been all my 7 months of life?"
Josephine thinks that my wonderful gift from my sister, Marty, is so special! Thank you for this stunning reminder of St Therese and how special her prayers are for us on this journey!
A first night pizza party with my parents! There were 4 of my siblings with their spouses, some grandkids and a couple great-grands! They are now close to family and it looks like they will have lots of loving company to check up on them and be more involved in their lives!
My mother's Sunday night routine for the first time in New Hope... shower, and curlers with a makeshift hair dryer she put together. It is starting to feel like home
My sister took them to mass this morning and then stayed to eat lunch with them. The Lord's plan is falling into place!
George is such a sweetie, and it was fun to have him here sharing his smiles and happiness!
Joy and happy baby boy, George as we shared a big family supper last night on the farm.
Jo Jo with her Godfather, John, who is also Joy's Godfather! JoJo and Joy are getting to be best buddies! They are only missing Evie, who is between them in age. 3 girls to grow up together... we love to watch them grow in love and sharing time together!
I love to share my birthday in pictures! The kids know what I love to have and use... here is my Washington bunch after mass today! We might not be together in reality, but we are spiritually united in The Eucharist! Hector is asleep so peacefully in his big sister's arms!
And here is the youngest grandchild... Jude, who is away for the weekend with mom. He sent me his love in a very adorable picture which I am enjoying today as a present sent to me with lots of love and cuteness! The hat is super cute!
Ruth's beautiful porch is so stunning in the daylight or the dark with the lights all around the glistening ceiling...
In the moonlight on the puddles after all the rain we have gotten. Harvest could be starting tomorrow around here with the wind and sun today! Lord, protect the farmers!
Football Dave had his Aunt and cousins come to his game yesterday!
My fall gifts were so special! Sweet 11 year old Dave made me the fall God's eye to go with the mums and pumpkin!
Thank you, Family!
Nancy took these great kids and kitten pictures! She knows what makes me tic!
George steals the show!
May I have the faith of a mustard seed, Lord, and share it with all that I encounter, most especially those in my domestic Church/family. As I go limping into my 68th year may I serve without counting the cost. Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
They always gift me with the silly one... sigh!
Some housewarming planter from Harvey and Raenelle! Thank you!
My parents new home!
Yes, I am so thankful to the Lord and my family and friends!
My favorite - picture of LIFE!!!
The sand pile was a hit and the nice sunny weather!
The girls and George and the sand with flowers! Farmtime/cousin time is the best!

"The cross is steady while
the world is turning." - St Bruno

"I believe the sacraments
which the Church believeth,
and in particular that the bread and wine consecrated on the altar
are the true Body of our Lord Jesus Christ;
His true Flesh, and His true Blood,
which we receive for the remission of our sins,
and in the hope of eternal life."
