Prayers shared with husband and brother/The Spirit at work in my life/wonderful rain from heaven!

Sweet one week old Birdie Barbara nestled in the blanket that Maria sewed for her and Therese made the family patch now one larger... we all smile at the tall bald John!
Owls and feathers all around her, and such a peaceful prayerful little gift from heaven - our love grows larger with each new member of our growing family and always room for more!
My father yesterday giving the thumbs up for a visit from my brother, Jim, who lives in Glencoe.  It seems like a visit each week or so from him is a good thing.

My dad shared that it is miraculous that he is here and is able to look his family in the eyes.  "I would be alone and not able to see my family in the home in the Cities."

We are looking for the priest to arrive in an hour and give dad the Anointing of the Sick along with Eucharist.
My brother shared in our afternoon rosary and chaplet of Divine Mercy.  Special prayers shared and it seems to be our most important job here these days and I am overjoyed to have the honor of joining with my deacon father in the morning and evening prayer of The Church he is called upon to do morning and evening.  Mom would join him and from time to time dad calls me "Nance."  All good!
Pat joined us for morning prayer after mass and "Sunday rolls."

Every Sunday when I help dad get dressed he will say; "Must be Sunday because I am putting on my Sunday shirt."  Now he is dressed for the priest to visit him here in our home today!
So wonderful to have them here with my father in his apartment in our farm home!

Today the readings are so much pertaining to the Holy Spirit and Father Mark's homily about how if we live according to our Faith and the teachings of The Church since our confirmation and receiving the Holy Spirit into our lives - the Spirit should be at work and directing our lives.  Yes!!!

This gets me so excited with the many ways The Spirit has been at work in my life from being baptized as a teenage girl by being prayed over as a Protestant and then becoming a Charismatic, from my parents bringing us into The Church where at a huge adult confirmation I saw the Bishop laying hands on us to receive The Holy Spirit, and thinking the Truth - this Church has it all figured out - it is Truly The Church!  Each day since has been a blessing and gift to me!  The Holy Spirit leading me to my farmer husband, who had told his sisters year before that he would only marry a Catholic and his prayers brought us into The Church, so that years later that would be true for me!  His answer to me about our family - The World needs LIGHTS!  I could go on and on, but I will let these two pages do that for me!

Sharing prayer of The Church with my Most Cherished Cross, Patrick, and Father Deacon Robert fills me with awe and wonder!

Shout joyfully to God, all the earth,
sing praise to the glory of his name;
proclaim his glorious praise.
Say to God, “How tremendous are your deeds!”
R. Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
or:
R. Alleluia.
“Let all on earth worship and sing praise to you,
sing praise to your name!”
Come and see the works of God,
his tremendous deeds among the children of Adam.
R. Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
Psalm 66 from mass today!  How tremendous are your deeds!

A week ago on the 5th Sunday of Easter/Mother's Day.  This is the 6th Sunday of Easter!  Dad and I do not get tired of our "Alleluias" many times each morning and night!  We love our resurrected Jesus and is glorious Bride, the Church!  United in our Faith/Family/Farm now that dad is here with me on The Farm!
Each day we lift up the original Mrs Cross!  My mom, Nancy!  How we find comfort in knowing of her finding her dwelling place with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with many big bounding with JOY dogs around her and walking through the heavenly garden filled with all the flowers she grew in her gardens of great beauty everywhere she lived!
Dad meeting his 58th great-grand chid, Birdie Barbara Verly!  "I will be seeing quite a bit of you living here." he promised her along with prayers without ceasing!

Jesus, how we love you and are eternally grateful for how your Holy Spirit has filled our lives with Truth and JOY!  May we die to self so that you may live in us.  Thank you for the perfect beautiful rain for our crops so that we may feed the world.   Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
13 month old Jude admires his great-grandpa for his walker with wonderful wheels!
He also discovered his great-grandma's chair that spins in circles... Fun!

We are so ready to have this mess of a world settle down and get back to LIFE and LOVE and LIGHT and Mass!  Bless-bless, Barbara
We just heard of another young man with brain cancer - Matt!  We are praying for him and his family!
