A parting pose with varying emotions all around as they headed up to bed last night with a hug and bless-bless from grandma and grandpa. 8 year old Patrick is not into smiling for photos, but grandma got a wonderful hug from my special boy. We did share about the drama we experienced 8 years ago when Maria ruptured while having Patrick. I baptized him in NICU a few hours later, and "the sickest baby in NICU" quickly recovered to the picture of health he is today.

4 year old Evangeline with her 2 horses and rainbow even got grandpa to join her in painting her rainbow. First time grandpa has joined in our watercoloring fun.
Evie is very much sharing herself with us in our days there. She makes us feel loved and welcomed and involves us by being around us and engaging with us with questions and smiles and hugs and sitting on grandma's lap for our rosary as a family.
Romeo loves to spend a lot of time on art and drew his own dinosaurs and painted them so special!
Romeo is now 6 as he shares a birthday with grandpa Pat, who was 66. It was fun for Pat to take long dog walks with the kids and learned a lot about the kids as they walked along together, We left there sharing about this one or that one and what new and interesting things we had learned about them. Seeing how much art is coming from Romeo was exciting and fun for me to see.
We got to know our almost 2 year old Hector better as he is sweet and loving to grandma and grandpa. Grandpa reading them a story.
We love you and miss you... we are now 14 hours down the road and stopped in Billings for the night with an early rising and back on the road.
Today is The Conversion of St Paul and there were so many special readings including both versions from Acts 22 and Acts 9. Of course, a huge part is the blinding and then the sight being restored after being prayed over by Ananias - yet, there was more than that as Saul had encountered Christ and his sight was now able to see The Truth, the Way and the LIFE - Jesus Christ!
