8 years ago - his oldest 3 kids with a healthy happy Patrick, who had a traumatic birth while Captain Joseph was stationed in Afghanistan.
Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The story of little Lamb - grandson Patrick
The last few days honored Adoption which has been very big for my family growing up...
In the late 60s we added 4 siblings to our family after their parents were killed in a car accident. From 7 to 11! Our lives were enriched and changed a whole lot!
Cold wind blowing through the red maple by our fuel barrel while I filled up for a trip about half an hour away to get a part for Pat's feed wagon.
Tonight our first snow?
Time to catch up on our visiting while we traveled together. Then a plea for prayers for a TEC friend, who is being tempted by his drug addiction from years past. Two decades of the rosary shared as we ponder the constant battle of addiction. Praying the 4th Luminous - the Transfiguration and that the demons may be removed that haunt and tempt! May he glow like Neon!
The look of impending winter on the horizon. The farm work in the field is done and my garden is cleaned out with the help of hubby and my porch furniture was put away in the barn on a beautiful day - "Why when we could still use it?" The next day we see that it was time!
Granddaughter, Mary Lanoue, is swimming at Sections in Wilmar today! 2nd from left in the back row! Ruth, Paul and family are on their way there to cheer her on!
Cute one from John - Baby Birdie's painted big toe sticking through her jammie! Two kids jumping on the couch yesterday for grandma - Birdie had her 18 month check up and is the picture of health including super smart and sweet!
Grandma's rosary is always in the picture!
Going to meet their other cousin! Little kids running around time!
Jesus said in reply,
“The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed,
and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is,’ or, ‘There it is.’
For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you.”
Then he said to his disciples,
“The days will come when you will long to see
one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
There will be those who will say to you,
‘Look, there he is,’ or ‘Look, here he is.’
Do not go off, do not run in pursuit.
For just as lightning flashes
and lights up the sky from one side to the other,
so will the Son of Man be in his day.
But first he must suffer greatly and be rejected by this generation.” Luke 17:20
