The perpetual adoration chapel at Nativity... a place of deep experience of turning to Jesus in my most weak and anxious state - 3 years ago when John was discovered to have brain cancer! I would stay with our daughters just a few blocks away, and come there and weep on my knees in front of Jesus... placing my 20 year old son in his hands, and attempting to Trust and know that He was in control. I am sure that those in there with me were kind of shaken to hear me, but then if there is ever a place where people let out their deepest feelings - this little room would be it! Today the tears welled up but not the deep sobs of 3 years ago, but still a deep desperate plea for the safety of our son-in-law, Joseph! He had a close call yesterday - where 4 of his men on either side of him were hurt... he called Maria and told her that "prayers are working!" Please join me in constant prayer for the safety of all those in harms' way! I wrote the intention for Joseph and all those in Alghanistan- may they return safely to their families! There is a book outside this chapel to put intentions in... It was very moving to realize that every minute of every hour since I was in there weeping 3 years ago - there have been those praying in front of HIM there! That is power and might!
We humbly beseech you to save our Joseph!!!! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
