Going back to the summer Sam stayed with us 6 years ago... I was thrilled to find that Susan was there too! How I miss her, and it gives me great JOY to feast my eyes on her at home on the farm! I know not when she will be able to come home, but I know that it is hard for her to come because she needs to have mass and Holy Hour every day. That is hard to provide for her as well as the many times during the day that they gather to mendicate the Gospel. I will continue to dream about her being at home with her habit on.
How she loves her neices and nephews! She hasn't met the two newest as she has been gone for two years now. I realize why I miss her so much and how much I yearn to see her back on the farm and with her family at home. She did stop in for a quick visit when John had cancer, and she was in her habit!
Hallel getting to know her new nephew 3 years ago - David. It is so fun to see Hallel at home on the farm! Well, I am taking my tired self to bed! Thank you, Lord, for this day of safety and prayer and laughs and memories and gratitude for finally seeing the skyline of Chicago fading quickly behind us after crawling towards it for an hour in stop and go traffic! I will close my eyes and dream of Susie/Hallel, and those will be very sweet dreams!
By the tenth station where she prayed and discerned for the entire summer before she entered the Community of the Lamb! The humility station/the pew with the last kneelers so people won't see me cry station.
