Behold the wood of the cross... come let us worship

Good Friday was unique and like no other - Ruth and the men were out vaccinating calves and I was with the grandkids  - the thought of trying to go to mass with them just was more than I could handle.  So we got a crucifix and spent some time adoring Jesus on the cross and talking about what he has done for us!
Luke was so sweet and instinctively kissed Jesus!
He knows and recognizes this image already in his year and a half of life!
So sweet and special to have this time to contemplate on a small personal level just how important this day is, and if we  are unable to get to mass we can still recall our Salvation won!
Our homemade tomato soup was always our Lenten supper during Lent, so it was great to share with Ruth's kids tonight...
It is a favorite of the kids and that makes it that much more wonderful!
Our little shrine for our service together.
Behold the wood of the cross on which hung the Savior of the world...
 Come let us worship...
Jesus, we adore you and thank you and praise you and worship you for dying for us!
 I love you, Jesus!

Sharing blowing out the candle after we have had our small service in the kitchen after our Lenten fast meal.  There is much excitement as we are heading out for Kansas City in the morning to see Little Sister Hallel/Susan and her Community of the Lamb!  I am so excited to be there with our extended family for Easter!
Rosie just up from her nap loves Jesus and gives him a super big and special hug!  Our prayers for all of you is that you may have a most wonderful Easter with your families!  Jesus, hold all close to your heart burning with love for them.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb and family
