Grandma gave him a boost up and he found a spot to sit and experience being in a tree! Life is full of new experiences for Luke, who is now walking and speaking and always loving to those in his life.
It is also becoming more evident that Luke is enthralled with the farm and tractors and his grandpa, whom he sees with admiration as he drives the equipment, works with the animals and handles the tools in the work around the farm! He smiles big when he is around grandpa and hopes that he can accompany him in the tractor or doing jobs around the place.
Today in morning prayer and in the readings we are told about how the Apostles were freed from jail by angels and told to tell "everything about this life (Jesus Christ)." Acts 5 I so see this in my time spent with The Community of the Lamb and how they start the night before "chewing/manducating" the Gospel. They embrace Jesus in His Word and Sacrament and then take him forth into their lives and all that they encounter! Since meeting them and knowing of their love of the Gospel - I too have started the night before and with great excitement read the Gospel for the next day, and then share it with Pat and John at morning prayer and then try to ponder its' meaning here.
Luke is very serious about his tractor time when he can't be in the big ones!
Duty is calling me, so I will keep this short today. The Gospel is amazing John 3:16-21! I would just like to say that we don't have to wait til we die to find Eternal life - it begins now and all we need do is believe in Jesus and know that He loves and forgives us unconditionally!
The tractors are rolling out to the field behind our place... soon the corn will be planted there.
Jesus, be with all the farmers as they plant the crops needed to feed the world. Keep them safe and looking to you in Trust for the rain and all they need to go forth and serve you. May their families serve them without counting the cost. May we recall that whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his work may be clearly seen as done in God. John 3:21 Be with John this day as he gives a sharing/witness to the kids at SMSU about his battle with pornography and healing through reconciliation... a battle that continues with each new day as that temptation is just a mouse click away. John knows that bringing the Truth to the LIGHT and sharing the harm this evil does to marriage and to purity among us. Bless his efforts and touch hearts this night. Yes, it is possible to be freed from the prison of porn and impurity and the darkness of this sin. St Agnes, who was put in a house of prostitution and left there untouched, pray for us. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
Rode with Pat and visited about life...
Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
I need to go out and clean out a tractor, but just wanted to share some of the sights on this morning of planting and calving and living in the LIGHT!
Jesus, go with all the farmers and keep them safe.

The underused Sacrament of healing - Reconciliation is there waiting for us to leave our sins behind and find healing!
