Planting +life on the farm

Dad is fueling up - the kids bring him water and look cute by the big track tractor.
Mom helps them climb in for a look from the inside
More to see - putting corn in for the planter
Rose playing in the loader bucket
Rose climbs up the ladder like a big girl
Rose is a farmgirl at heart and is very interested in all that is going on around us.
Luke in the prize winning pickup listening to the beat as there are both the digger and the planter here on the yard.  The digger is getting fueled up and the planter is getting filled with corn.
Luke loves this station in his pickup - bopping and pretend/driving.

Later we had to move the water truck and fuel up the tractor - Simon was riding along with his dad, Paul!
Above the roar of the tractor, the pickup with the fuel loading, and the water truck loading up the tanks on the front of the tractor... Simon and I talked about how he had always loved to think that we would have a track tractor...
His wish came true and we have had a track tractor for the big jobs of digging and ripping before and after the crop.
It looks like spring - Mary will be 9 in a few days, so Ruth is getting ready for the party/celebration!
 Rose shows me her favorite!
Rose with her pretty cargo... spring in a wagon pulled by a little girl on her bike
My fall kitten is all grown up and probably due to have kittens of her own in a few weeks.  She adores me and follows me where ever I am... I would put her in this tree when she was  a kitten and I would come out and put clothes on the line.  Now she is able to get along with the dog and I put her out without worry.  I do get tired of her being underfoot, so with the nice weather she is outside more and only comes in to eat a few times during the day.  Bless-bless, Barb
